I think we need to wait for the dust to settle before making judgements. There has been lots of rubbish on the media - some may prove true - but personally will wait to see what the reality was.

I would trust what the media report more than I trust how Rovers will spin it, and that really is saying something.

Too much smoke for there to be no fire.

We have form.

Think it’s just been announced that Brekalo is going Orlando

I remember reading that Alan Ball got a percentage of the transfer fee, when he went to Arsenal-because he hadn't asked for the transfer-and that was years ago!

John Aldridge demanded £250k from Liverpool to leave Liverpool who had no obligation to pay him anything, they paid him up to get him gone...

Well if Brekalo isn't in England right now he's not getting a medical done in time, so that one isn't happening.

Orlando have agreed a fee for him.

I don't think they necessarily have to be present to do the medical assessment these days.

This morning media report Venkys has stopped all transfers, then that the Wharton deal was off. Our striker either came across without a deal signed, we changed our mind when he was in mid air ???

As well as Rovers potentially playing games - you also have agents playing games - all combined with so called ITKers being picked up by various media outlets.

At the moment I am not certain where the fire is - or if the smoke isn't just an ITKer on their vape 🤣

Assuming this is true, as the paper trail seems to suggest it is, then well done to all involved on turning the McGuire deal around.

I’ve no idea what his credibility as a Championship striker is, but if we’ve made an agreement we should (and seemingly have) do the right thing and honour the deal. I don’t know what happened overnight, but it felt extremely uncomfortable and the club have to acknowledge after Lewis O’Brien fans will assume the worst.

Not the best start to life in the UK for Duncan, here’s hoping he finds his feet and starts banging in goals quickly.

Not saying it will happen but the medicals can be done abroad and have been done that way in other deals

Defence is okay for now, we need a Striker & CM if we are brining in more than 1 player - Winger would be nice.

We only have 1 fit left back who hasnt played many games at senior level and one fit rb in JRC who is better in a different position

Defence isn't sorted

There were too many reports of the Maguire deal collapsing, including Elliott Jackson, who is not renowned for sticking his neck out unless something has been confirmed to him.

I agree, there are other factors at play, and transfers are never done until they are done, but the chaotic nature of Blackburn Rovers is fully exposed each and every transfer deadline day.
