Might as well be Duncan Donuts given the financial situation we appear to be in.

If I was JDT I'd be absolutely livid to have been put into such an invidious position. Remember the fresh-faced cheeky chappie who strode positively through the place on arrival, talking about 'the project'? Contrast that with the irritable and stressed looking individual chucking barbs at those who have his hands tied, blindfold on and sensory blackout on the comms front.. Not pretty and not looking like someone who is enjoying the cleft stick that has become reality.

Get this. JDT has to wait to be told who is in his squad, and has to accept that players can be shipped out whether he likes it or not. There's only one thing worse than that position, and that is to be like us, a mere supporter of the club.

Transfer Rumours thread. My arse.

Herein lies the problem of being a Head Coach at a basket case club like Rovers.

Definitely worse than being manager.

Remember Ronan Curtis... heavely linked with us when he was at Portsmouth..got a knee injury and then left Pompey.. was highly rated...now he's joined Wimbledon in league two....

So he got his big money move to show off his inate talent then 🤔

Personally I still have the view that the utterly key signings are a striker who scores goals and (very frustratingly) a good keeper. We have enough in other roles to get by.

Id much much much much prefer to sign a decent striker and keeper than split out resources and attention and sign four mediocre players.

We 100% need cover at CB this window. But yes a striker who’s got some pace and or abit of flare about him - This team lacks pace.

I don't think we need 2 centre backs we just need one good one.

We need a starting striker.

We need a right winger (allowing us to move markanday on)

We need a reliable keeper. Which can't have been part of the original plan but would be top of my list.

11 days to get 4 players IMO.

2 CBs, 1 winger and a striker…all very unlikely - I think we will see just 2 more and they’ll both bee loans -  I can’t see O’Riordan happening.

13 days -  not that those extra 48 hours will make any difference.

Jutkewicz, Gallagher or Ennis?

3 bald men fighting over a comb comes to mind. Sorry if that metaphor is nonsensical.

Can't forsee any incoming.

If I could target any position for a signing it would probably be right wing/forward. Someone with blistering pace and some tricks. It’s like playing with 10 men with Moran and Markandy out there.

With the way we try to play I think it’s strange, under the JDT era, that we’ve not signed anyone like that.

S Thomas had pace but it didn’t really work out for him here, although he showed glimpses…I’d have him over Markanday and Moran on the wing though.

Think Moran is suffering from not having Dolan on the pitch. SS, Dolan and Moran linked up well and Dolan did a lot of pressing that meant Moran had more space

At this point I’d be happy if we brought in a 17 year old on loan from the fox and hound to pull pints quicker at half time
