He's only 22 so there's room to develop him.

For his next club.

And Leonard is only 19. Both might be great but neither is proven. Leonard has at least scored one goal in Europe. Again might be great but proven he is not

My only hope with McGuire is that he wants to learn. JDT wasn’t a bad striker and could improve him as long as his attitude is right and he’s keen to learn. It will be a step up for him but at least it’s not stepping up from youth football.

Well he's got him for four months.

I was being facetious. He might well develop into a goal machine but there's no way we're paying the asking price at the end of his loan.

Impressive, although - again - another only to the end of the season. Has to be something in the lack of commitment past the end of the season. Something has to be driving it.

Presumably Venky's having no idea if they'll be able to fund the club by then and limiting any future additional costs. Wharton money assumedly carries us until then.

Fleck is 32 and the Coventry loanee 37 so you have to say the need for some experience in the squad has been addressed. Fleck's arrival should mean JRC can stay on the right flank, where he is best. Wharton has gone but add in the American lad and getting money for Ennis and the window could have been worse.

Let's see how it goes

Played a good number of games in the championship last season. Will be a useful player for us over the coming months. We’re still weaker but I’d say it’s an ok end to the window.

Think the Liverpool lad will be a squad filler after reading a few comments so he’s the one I’m probably least convinced by.
