He's only new of course but the new keeper really isn't doing us any favours. Letting TK go was arguably more damaging than not getting a striker in.

We lost possession just outside the box a couple of minutes before so it's rinse and repeat and this time punished.

Thing is we do it most games in the league, get caught out but the oppo is not usually good enough to penalise.

According to Radio 5, there's no VAR in any Carabao Cup game.

They didn't say whether that's just tonight or in every Round of the competition.  Only 'reason' I can think of is that there are so many EFL teams still in the competition, the League - it's still the Football League Cup, after all - doesn't want us getting used to something we won't have in our 46 League games every season.

They shouldn't be put in that position.  Manager wants plaudits for playing attractive football when no one wants it. Get the ball out if the danger area and at least make them break us down. It's fucking idiotic persisting with this approach.
