OldEwoodBlue Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Pro footballers can't play a simple pass in front of the player. 1 Quote

BigBar Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Siggy looks a right player. Our attack is actually quite good, need to sort out the cheap conceeding and errors. That's Tomasson's job to put right. 3 Quote
Displaced Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 We’d be such a good team if we could defend….and if we had a striker…. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 We do look good with the ball going forward, I just have no confidence we can stop them scoring at least three. Quote

I haven’t lamented the Kaminski sale to date, I’m a believer in constant regeneration, but you have to wonder if Kaminski causes or allows the volume of goals we’ve conceded. I don’t think he can be that much worse at distributing the ball than Pears seemingly is at literally every other goalkeeping task. I don’t know what Leo looks like, have t seen the Carabao games, but if the staff don’t think Leo’s better than Pears, then what else can he do? Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Think markandy looks like our weakest link attacking wise, struggling to get into the game. Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Why did we bother buying a goalie if Pears is in regardless of how bad he plays? Quote
Guest Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Pears should definitely have come for the cross that they scored from. Anyway, Leicester look a good side. We will do well to match them today. Quote
Bethnal Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 We’ve had a good pop at them here and probably unlucky to only have one. Expect the next 15 to be in their favour as they grow into the game. Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 The last ball, it's all it is, the final pass is lacking other then that upfront we look very good. Moran and Siggy linking up very well Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Moran's looked so much better the last few games. Quote
Sweaty Gussets Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Some hilarious criticism of the manager in this thread. We're completely outplaying the supposed best team in the league. 3 Quote

matt83 Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I’ve obviously never seen Wahlstedt in training and haven’t seen him in the league cup but I just refuse to believe that a guy who’s played an international game for Sweden and kept a clean sheet isn’t better than Mowbray’s mates son. Who’s cost rovers more points than any keeper I can ever remember and put in some of the worst individual performances (Wigan/Ipswich) of any rovers player in any position. 3 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Moran shit so far. No vision when or where to release it. Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Defending from corners needs to be looked at Jesus Christmas Quote
Guest Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) ffs! Why doesn't Pears come for that corner? Edited October 1, 2023 by Shirley Crabtree Wrestler Quote
BigBar Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Some people on here focusing on others opinions too much yet again. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Pears glued to his line again. Same as last weekend for one of their goals. 2 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Leicester coming back into it here, be amazed if its 1-1 at halftime 1 Quote

Displaced Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Not a chance of getting something from this game (unless we somehow manage to score 4 - then we might nick a draw) 2 Quote

The Manager is fully entitle to play who he likes, that is why he is the manager, he will live and die by those decisions. My problem is why did we spend the only money we had for the summer (and we knew at that stage that is was the only money) on someone who was not a significant improvement on what we had? Surely the money could have been better invested elsewhere and just take a chance putting one of the U23 keepers on the bench for the year. Quote
