Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Wonder how long Siggy will last. To be honest, I don't have a huge amount of confidence that Telalovic will offer much of anything if he comes on. But I hope I'm wrong! Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) Our corner routines nearly irritate me as much as seeing Pears on the team sheet every week. Embarrassingly bad. Edited October 1, 2023 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! 3 Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Fucking shambles at the back pathetic tactically! Leicester know exactly how to play this half, let us have the ball and come forward then pounce on the break , far to open! 1 Quote
waynerovers Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Is this team allergic to just crossing in a corner? What's point in taking it short if you don't have a plan. 1 Quote
Bethnal Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) Pickering does well there to cover for Hyam and Pears’ inadequacies. And Adam Wharton dawdling. Can see that the effort of the opening hour causing mistakes. Markanday is done for today, decision making has been poor and it’s causing moves to break down. booth Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Wharton caught in possession, Pears not committed and took an age to get back. And then Szmod skies an excellent opportunity. Sums up the season so far. 3 Quote
Eddie Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I think we've got two players of real class in Moran and Sigurdsson. I really look forward to watching them as they grow into the team (and fitness improves). 1 Quote
Irish_Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 We constantly seem to what to look for the eye of a needle pass, ignoring a more simple pass and instead just forcing it into an area with loads of bodies. Playing intricate stuff is all well and good but we need to spread out the play a bit to open space. We're also ridiculously open, no wonder the defenders are having a hard time when at times in the first half both Wharton and Travis seemed to be pushing around Leicester's 18 yard box to close down a kickout. Its mental, we dont have the players either up front or defence for this sort of game plan. 1 Quote

ItsRoverZ Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 God we are so frustrating to watch at times ..some of the basics we get so wrong Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) Pears will surely have to come off here. Would never wish an injury on anyone but he needs a spell out of the side. Huge chance for Leo if so. Edited October 1, 2023 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! 2 Quote
Guest Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Sky commenting on the 'very public discussion' of Pear's form on his confidence 🙂 Perhaps this will be Leo's chance? Quote
Eddie Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Never want to see a player suffer an injury, but this Pears knock could be just what we need to resolve the keeping debate. 4 Quote

Displaced Rover Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Dolan on for Siggy really illustrates our lack of depth/quality. It’s like giving up 4 Quote
