yankfan Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Pears looks to be in sone serious pain. No weight on the foot. Just hope we’re not soon wishing Pears was back in the starting xi Quote
Backroom DE. Posted October 1, 2023 Backroom Posted October 1, 2023 Assume Siggy coming off is more out of concern for his fitness. Sometimes players aren't the best judges of this, so I'll trust JDT and the coaching staff if they feel they need to be careful with him. Bringing on Dolan is a certainly a decision... but then you look at the bench and.... 🤷♂️ 5 Quote

CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Divine intervention for Leo to be on.. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Excited to see what Wahlstedt can do. You'd have to hope he's better than the fact of Pears' repeated selection suggests. Quote

Penwortham Blue Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I’m in Spain and can’t find a bar to watch, frustrating. Only hope is that we still somehow take a point, Dolan certainly well overdue a goal. Quote
booth Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) Why Dolan? Edited October 1, 2023 by booth Quote
Backroom DE. Posted October 1, 2023 Backroom Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) Whilst I have wanted Pears replaced in the starting line up, I wouldn't have wished it via injury and hope it's nothing serious. Time for Wahlstedt to show what he's capable of. Edited October 1, 2023 by DE. 7 Quote
booth Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Why do our players take so many touches before shooting? And we wonder why we don’t test the oppo keeper. 4 Quote

Siggy will feel he had more in him, but I’d rather have him available for more games and fewer minutes. He’s had a good game today and looked neatly aligned with the other forwards. But I want him starting the next game and the one after and so on. 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Siggy was always gonna come off. No way JDT was giving him 90 minutes. And who else do we have to bring on other than Dolan? 1 Quote

benhben Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Not a good sign that when we need a goal he would still rather have no striker on than Telalovic. JDT obviously not a fan atm. 1 Quote

I don't think Markanday is up to it at this level - but fair play at least he's willing to have a shot. Everyone else seems to want to walk it in. 2 Quote
Brainfreeze Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Adam Wharton totally off the boil at the moment. 2 Quote

It's easy to forget how young he is and it's rare that players that age maintain performances over a long run of games. Could do with a rest but who do you even replace him with? 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 1, 2023 Backroom Posted October 1, 2023 Slack by Leo, I’ll never like this keeper passing through the middle nonsense 1 Quote
