If JDTs ambitious being a manager who precides over so many goals against won't do him much good. People aren't going to blame Venkys for that.

It is Owen Coyle football. No defensive shape at all. It's embarrassing to watch.

Let's see where we are in 5 games but I do feel this type of football will see us finish bottom 6.

Pears concedes that and he is getting pelters on this site. It was a good finish but a better goalkeeper makes it impossible to score from there.

Love JDT and feel he's been dealt a raw deal here with lack of investment but come on man you have to shore up that defence and midfield before going to gung ho in attack

This manager has benefited massively because he is not Coyle or Mowbray. If this was happening under another manager that most didn't find so charming the reaction would be completely different.

He has an England u21 defender on the bench and plays that dolloper Carter.
