He has - but having an athlete at LB has helped massively too. If you've noticed they've rarely played a diagonal ball to LB today, which was a staple for teams when Pickering was there.

Yet again people Overreacted to a team selection. Why not wait until we see how they line up on the pitch. Wouldn't surprise me if we played Hill in centre mid with Wharton and JRC and Brittain as full backs 

And Sigurdsson is coming back from injury. He has 4 games in 11 day period. We don't want to get injury again

Swansea was one of those clubs who wanted to sign

Harsh on Pickering, these are weak up front, think Pickering would be comfortable here as well.

He's been given the JRC role from FB, with Hill sitting more (it's usually the inverse with Pickering sitting).
