Moran was hit in the bollocks - not sure what’s that’s got to do with training 🤣

Anyway, very good first half. Dolan surprisingly good, Wharton looked better. Hill looked decent and Brittain again really good.

Once again, we need to make it count, but the game is ours to win.

Also Wahlstedt not being Pears is an immediate upgrade.

Yeah, a blind man on a galloping horse can see what a good team we are.

He can also see that not having a striker worthy of the name is fucking up our season.

Sean Curry would have had a hattrick tonight!

Happy I did not bought the game tonight...

You are missing a decent game. I’m at a loss how people are saying we are poor.

Apart from the finishing, we have been very good.

What has happened to Dolan? He used to love running at the full back, cutting inside and shooting. Like every winger now, they just run, stop and then pass to the full back.

Dolan is useless. How he makes the side never mind the squad is beyond me!!!

Dolan has been very good so far.

Brittain again proving how good a player he is. Solid performance so far just need to put a chance away. Playing well.

Not for the first time I found myself sat here thinking Callum Brittain is the best player on the pitch.

Feels very "Covid Mowbray" this one. 61% possession and 0.32xG. Everything seems fine/Rovers on top when it's a draw, however if this turns into a 1-0 defeat it'd look completely spineless.

Keeping us ticking and massively important. Seen plenty of the ball in tight areas and made sure we’ve retained possession. He’s so important in turning defence quickly into attack.

He has been much better than recently, so basically he has played ok.

Keeper isn’t breaking up play, seems very comfortable with his feet and making decisions to punch, not caught in no man’s land and giving away cheap possession

Coventry look a poor side and there for the taking.

We've done okay but we don't look threatening.

Simply have to win games like this otherwise we are fecked.

I tried sleeping but couldn't.

TBF Dolan is better than usual but still runs into trouble too often.

We are playing well enough but obviously the striker issue is glaringly obvious but that was some shot by Hill, on a par with Reid's except the ending. The keeper deflected it, I think.

Coventry a bit agricultural but a threat on the break and Leo dealt well with that low shot early on.

Need to win this.

View from the Ricoh is we were very good that half but it’s a strange looking team that doesn’t have a recognised striker. Not many Rovers fans here sadly

Yep, even a half competent striker in that side scores at least 2 in that half alone.

We do play some nice football, and have done all season.

Missed chances and conceding daft goals has been the story so far.

But I’ll remain optimistic. I predicted we’d dick these before KO, not seen anything to change my mind.

Oh come on. He has had his best half of the season so far. Hardly put a foot wrong and been very lively,

Agreed, that is a more realistic take on it.

I’m just waiting for someone to post that Chris Brown would’ve got a Hattrick against these.

Nope this is the sort of game you draw and finish mid table, I think that is the goal so we are in good shape to get a point.

He’s put in a typically disciplined first half performance, allowed us to play out from the back and helped us retain possession. He’s sat deep, always shown for it and never given the ball away. He’s playing exactly to instruction I should imagine and doing what the manager wants him to do to perfection.

It might get harder as the game goes on and players in front of him are marked. That’s what normally happens.
