roverblue Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Typical. In a relegation battle already I think. shame as performance wise shown glimpses of quality but failed to test the keeper. Cant complain as shit as Coventrys general play has been they have still hit the post 3-4 times due to our soft under belly. 1 Quote

RutlandRover Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I'm going to tell myself it is still far too early in the season to starting panicking but this rut we're in is bloody painful. I'm keeping hopeful things will gel at some point. Quote

Polky Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 It’s so predictable, we waste great chances every game and get punished. Quote
Bethnal Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 No urgency. You can’t force it, I get that, but the central defenders are far too slow to get it forward. Quote
Popular Post CambridgeRover Posted October 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 4, 2023 Venkys cut the budget by 15% and cashed in 5 million. They are solely the reason. 13 Quote
TheKitGuy Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Moran has to absolutely throw himself into that. Terrible that's he's not even attempted 1 Quote

Lancaster Rover Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I think JDT has to shoulder some blame and the cuts business doesn’t wash for me defensively. We’ve got plenty of players to play at the back and in midfield. JDT is however showing himself to be stubborn to a fault and seemingly unable to pick a side that gives the defence some protection. i love the way we pop the ball about but he needs to show some flexibility in adjusting our shape to provide protection and sharpish otherwise we’re going to be all fur coat and no knickers pretty quick Quote

Only way he's leaving is if another club takes him but as he's leading us into a relegation battle, can't see that happening. Remember, results are secondary to the higher ups. 1 Quote
Moderation Lead Popular Post K-Hod Posted October 4, 2023 Moderation Lead Popular Post Posted October 4, 2023 Travis refusing to put a cross in then, gets to Szmodics and then back to the keeper, when we are 1-0 down in injury time. If this bloody phone didn’t cost me so much, I’d have lobbed it. 10 Quote
superniko Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 (edited) Worryingly created very little tonight. I wasn’t expected anything from the game but god we lack any quality. Markanday and Dolan are league one at best, they should be nowhere near this starting 11. Bottom 3 if we lose on Saturday I’d imagine. Brittain and Hill if we’re scraping for some positives Edited October 4, 2023 by superniko 3 Quote

We need horrible old style manager, this isn't working and doesn't look like it's going to. I'm not confident whoever the manager is with this lot but this is all too familiar and we are on a rotten run. Most teams worked us out last season , not it appears all have. 1 Quote
Cherry Blue Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 We played ok but with little attempts on goal we aren't going to score. Almost twice possession yet fewer shots. Quote
Displaced Rover Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 We’ve not even tried to stick the ball in the box in injury time. No urgency Quote
