We'll never know how he would have fared had he gone to us.His record clearly suggests he's better than this though. Maybe the squad he's got is rubbish. Congratulations to those on here who forecast this dramatic turn-around---I wasn't one of them!! 😨 1 Quote

benhben Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Will do very well to keep hold of Sigurdsson. I suspect other sides will already be taking note. No idea what the contract situation is for next year. 2 Quote

I'll be amazed if there are any incomings at all. 1 Quote

roverstdt Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Random question is it me or does JDT look more relaxed playing with no expectations? Quote

magicalmortensleftpeg Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Good win. QPR woeful and somehow worse than they were in the Spring. Not getting carried away but played some good stuff and the game was over with 30 mins to spare. Hill was impressive and linked up well with Brittain who did well in a more advanced role. Thought JRC had some really good moments too. Keeping an open mind regarding the rest of the season. We’ve started the last two seasons well and faded badly so perhaps we might invert that trend and actually build towards a decent finish. Keeping Szmodics and Siggy fit will be key if we’re to do anything of note. 4 Quote

Popular Post arbitro Posted October 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2023 Great to get that winning feeling again as it seems a while since I had it. Today there were many positives but high on that list for me was the clean sheet and how we look better with effectively three centre halves in the back four. Tronstadt gave them the screen they needed and JRC was so industrious he offered help when it was needed. Our dominance was almost total and scoring seven wouldn't have flattered us. Some of the football was so pleasing on the eye and scoring four was a reward for the players and their hard work. In several other games this season we could have scored a similar amount but a combination of poor luck and finishing out paid to that. Today it came together. I know some will say "it's only QPR" but I honestly don't care who it was. Well done Rovers. 16 Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 And we missed the easiest chance of the game. I thought Dolan took his chances well, he opened his body up nicely to glide the ball to the far side of the goal. Both the first two goals came from us getting up their left hand side and getting their defenders turned around facing their own goal. 1 Quote

roverstdt Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Bit harsh some of comments Semir I don’t think he has been awful Just needs time people are always hit or kisses from the get go. Sammie is a good one to remember. I remember fans writing him off last season that Dack should be starting ahead. Those same fans are now cheering his goals 🤣 9 Quote
roversfan99 Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 People will cheer Telalovic if he scores goals, not sure how that is relevant. No one dismisses praise over Sigurdsson because its "too early." That argument only ever is made by the self appointed negativity police. 3 Quote
Ghost7 Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 It is quite incredible how fans can judge a player based on 57 minutes of league football. 4 Quote
