Dolan having a really good half here, some excellent work.

Trav has been far too gung-ho, he’s causing huge problems for some tired legs around him. Can’t fathom why he hadn’t been told to pair up with Tronstad and support the full backs.

How's Ennis been since he came on?

Looks like he could be the focal point up top (good touch, fairly intelligent, holds the ball up well) but our midfield do not appear to know how to use him at all.

Travis on the pitch seems to always coincide with us being under the cosh.

Cardiff committing so many players forward now but we’re not exploiting it.

He's a headless chicken at the moment.

A little bit too slow for mine.

Tend to agree with this. Not fully fit and team not used to playing with him. Ill be reserving judgement on Ennis till hes got a few more games under his belt .

Ennis did ok coming on... had Szmodics seen him with the pass he would had been clean through. Also worked hard in the defending in the end. JRC also missed a one on one today taking to much time but scored the winner.

To be fair they haven’t had that option in years

Phew! That wasn't comfortable at all but a really good win. A game we needed to win really.

Tronstad, Hill, and Carter were all excellent. One bit of quality from Dolan to win us the game.

The gung ho football has been axed which is good to see. Less entertainment but we will see better results.

Up to 15th and now only three points away from the playoffs.

Would have been 14th only for Boro getting a last minute goal. Need to win against Millwall now.

This league is essentially 3 good teams (Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds), 3 shite teams (Wednesday, QPR, Rotherham). Then a load of meh in the middle.

Certainly 2 or 3 playoff spots up for grabs, I’d imagine Southampton, Boro, Norwich will be favourites for them but no reason we can’t throw our name in the hat. 6 points between 7th and 21st.

Having said all that, I thought we were pretty average today, got a lucky decision 1st half, missed a sitter 2nd half but took the 3 points and that’s all that matters. Absolutely hate how pathetic we look when a goal up though. Seriously lacking leaders on the pitch.
