Bethnal Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Dolan having a really good half here, some excellent work. Trav has been far too gung-ho, he’s causing huge problems for some tired legs around him. Can’t fathom why he hadn’t been told to pair up with Tronstad and support the full backs. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Travis must lead the championship in points per minute. I mean finger points 1 Quote

bazza Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Captain Hyam (or Travis?) should be marshalling the troops. Quote

moerpho Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Ahh….the sweet taste of 3 points despite a rather lacklustre performance. Can’t complain about that. 4 Quote
CambridgeRover Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Fudged it but 3 points is fantastic. A lot to work on going forward Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Really needed that! 3 points, a clean sheet when not playing very well at all! Hopefully Moran back for next game too. CoYB Quote

Tend to agree with this. Not fully fit and team not used to playing with him. Ill be reserving judgement on Ennis till hes got a few more games under his belt . 1 Quote
neophox Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Two wins and clean sheets in a row...a big boost for the team and Leo! Well done. 6 Quote
waynerovers Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Two wins and two clean sheets in a row! Keep Pears away from the number one spot. 6 Quote
JohnD Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Far from our best performance but 3 points and a clean sheet will do. Quote
neophox Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Ennis did ok coming on... had Szmodics seen him with the pass he would had been clean through. Also worked hard in the defending in the end. JRC also missed a one on one today taking to much time but scored the winner. 2 Quote

To be fair they haven’t had that option in years 3 Quote
neophox Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 I would say this Cardiff team is quite good. But it didn't click for their bunch of strikers. Quote
wilsdenrover Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Up to 15th and now only three points away from the playoffs. 2 Quote
rovers11 Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Phew! That wasn't comfortable at all but a really good win. A game we needed to win really. Tronstad, Hill, and Carter were all excellent. One bit of quality from Dolan to win us the game. The gung ho football has been axed which is good to see. Less entertainment but we will see better results. 3 Quote

superniko Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 This league is essentially 3 good teams (Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds), 3 shite teams (Wednesday, QPR, Rotherham). Then a load of meh in the middle. Certainly 2 or 3 playoff spots up for grabs, I’d imagine Southampton, Boro, Norwich will be favourites for them but no reason we can’t throw our name in the hat. 6 points between 7th and 21st. Having said all that, I thought we were pretty average today, got a lucky decision 1st half, missed a sitter 2nd half but took the 3 points and that’s all that matters. Absolutely hate how pathetic we look when a goal up though. Seriously lacking leaders on the pitch. 3 Quote
