Gav Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Football without fans is nothing, Sunday, 12pm kick off in East Anglia chips away at your love for the game, but on the flip side I'll wager we take an excellent following and I salute every single one of you. Norwich 1 Rovers 3 (3 Duffy own goals and the Rovers fans come away delighted) 7 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Our defence is on it's last legs, we're without the energy of Szmodics, and out frontline is iffy to say the least, My heart says we'll nick something, but my head says home win. 2-0 to the Canaries. Quote
neophox Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Wahlstedt Brittain, Hill, Hyam/Wharton, Pickering Tronstad, Wharton Moran, JRC, Sigurdsson Dolan/Leonard I think we will start like this. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Fancy a tight defeat here. 2-0 norwich. A lot of heart from rovers and not a lot else 1 Quote

I think this year / season is giving him an opportunity. He isn't a Diaz replacement or a dack or a Rhodes but he is one of ours and he's getting a run in the side when he is fit. He will miss chances but he will learn. Glad to see him getting game time. Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) 1-1 Duffy red card, and he slips as he runs off and fractures both legs in 3 places, after long and painful rehab he has to retire to a Vodka bottle. Sad story, couldn't happen to a bigger cnut. Edited November 4, 2023 by AllRoverAsia 6 Quote

philipl Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) Two worst defenses matched up. 0-0 draw That young winger Norwich has is very useful. Have to keep him quiet. Edited November 4, 2023 by philipl Quote
Penwortham Blue Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Hoping we get something but I just can’t see it. Whenever a club is on a poor run, we never seen to turn up and almost always get turned over. Quote
Butty Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Big ask for us tomorrow I feel with the players we’ve got/potentially got missing. They need a win and I feel they may get one. 2-1 Norwich. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 4, 2023 Backroom Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) I'll be there, hoping for a repeat of last year's performance at Carrow Road. Edited November 4, 2023 by DE. 5 Quote

chaddyrovers Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 I wouldn't risked Szmodics if not fully fit. Saved for PNE game my team would be Wahlstedt Brittain Hill Wharton Pickering JRC Tronstad Wharton Moran Leonard Sigurdsson 6 Quote
Gordon Gekko Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Not really a bogey ground we’ve won our last two at their place haven’t we? 3 Quote
Mattyblue Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Head down the road to Ipswich, now that’s a proper bogey ground for us. Quote
NeilInBristol Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace Boos at Turf Moor. Burnley are the first ever side to lose their first six home matches in the Premier League. Oh.... ! Anyway.. big game tomorrow! 4 Quote

BigBar Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 (edited) Watched 3 back to back PL games today. None of them play the way we try to. Keepers mix it up, go long, players cross the ball, win second balls. I forgot what it's like to actually put in a decent corner let alone score from one. We never seem to score a header and if we do it's very rare. Can't think of one this season. Our approach is unique to us, try to play it out from the back no matter what and constantly get caught out. Needs to change. Edited November 4, 2023 by BigBar 6 Quote

Fair chance we'll get overrun in midfield unless JRC can miraculously be 2 men at the same time. No wonder he's injury prone. And any good work the team do will be wasted in a second by Flapper in goal. In summary, I've no confidence at all going into any game now. Sometimes we turn it on, most times we don't. Whatever the line-up. Hard being a Rovers supporter right now. 1 Quote
