I personally struggle to get to week games because of my location but am dropping everything to make tomorrow's game. I'm 38 but this was a game I had to get to. Can't say exactly why other than I consider it a derby and I expect the atmosphere to be up a level or 2. The right performance and result will only add to that

Ahh I didn't realise they were just covers (although I guess that makes sense given how quick it was rather than painting it).

Have we not had fans up there since they were installed then? Like you say that gives them a good opportunity to do it properly (albeit Leeds will be back up there in 1 month anyway)

Don't think we have tbh.

I think they'll probably get left off until after Leeds as you say, I can't see Swag paying someone to put them back on only to remove them again on a month to reinstall again.

JRC’s long term absence is a huge blow - it can’t be overstated enough. He’s been outstanding over the past year or so. If it’s within the loan rules Buckley needs to be recalled from Sheffield Wednesday; the already thin squad is getting close to breaking point

Can only be recalled during the January transfer window.

Unless they default on payment .

After tomorrow do we need to recall Buckley. After the international break hopefully the injured defenders are fit again, we also have cover in mid-field. Our area of short-coming is up front, recalling Bucko will not help with that.

He's going to cost a few £m, have the magic money taps been switched on or just more lazy journalism?

As if we can win any contest for a player with other clubs!

Burnley are the one I really dislike the most, but these other Lancs sides, I pretty much dislike them as they dislike us!

Armed with a ten quid transfer budget, I imagine most people would.

Same. If the others weren't bitterly jealous of our past successes and had no issue with us, I'd have none with them, and in fact I'd wish them all well, just not better than us due to catchment needs for our support. I do strongly dislike Bolton, but that's also from their fans acting like bellends with us (and Big Sam, but then he managed us for a while so I had to get over that).

Truth be told, I only hate Burnley because tradition obliges and cos their fans are largely pricks to us.

How is 5 goals in 17  games ‘continuing the fine form’ of 10 goals in 19 games?

I don’t think even that would allow us to play him before January.

The only thing is, if they defaulted on payment, we might be allowed to recall him and have him train with us.

Looking forward to this one. Biggest game of the league calender for me. 6000 Nob End. I class these as a big rival obviously not in the same bracket as Burnley but Notlob and Nob End are the next on my list for sure. Dolan 1 nil.

I think as a Rovers fan you only have to come across Burnley fans once or even listen to them once and the seed is sown for a lifetime of detestment.

I believe @Mike E knows what it’s like to come across a Burnley fan…

I dislike Bolton because of the amount of times they kicked the shit out of us on Manchester road.

I got my wallet lifted in a bar in Amsterdam, it was about 1998 . I told the lads I was with to carry on with their night. I eventually got talking to this group of lads, they turned out to be Dingles. They bought me beers all night. When I said to them that I didn't even think about Burnley, they replyed that I should never forget how much I should hate Burnley. They were more pissed off that I didn't give a shit about them, than the fact I was a Rover

Before I was totally rovers I went to Burnden park as a 16 year old with my 13 year old brother. My parents went shopping in Bolton.

I went to support WBA and stood on Burnden terrace.

Manchester Road that day was awful. My parents had a yellow Datsun at the time and when me and my kid brother got to the car guys were on the bonnet scrapping.
