That auto correct really pisses me off too. A solid effort from everyone involved. If only they'd give us control of the rest of the club, we'd be on our way back to where we should be. Amazing work from BRFCS and the Trust. 2 Quote

Herbie6590 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 It ended at £3075. The money has been transferred to Blackburn Rovers Community Trust. Once again, you are all amazingly generous. Give yourselves a pat on the back. 🙏🤍💙 8 Quote

Mike Graham Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 We are asking all fans to get into the theme for the day which is a ‘Blue & White Christmas’ and to bring your banners and flags and help make a decent atmosphere at Ewood. We also have the three large We Are The Rovers Supporters Trust banners for the BBE (one for possibly the JW Lower towards the DE). We are looking for 3 responsible individuals 😂😂😂😂 who will ‘own’ the banners and take them to Ewood on match days and also away grounds where possible. Please come forward via this mb and you can pick the banners up at our hut we will be using at the BBE fanzone at the Watford game. Thank you. 1 Quote

Not to discourage anyone but it's a nightmare taking flags, especially to away games. They look at you like you've come with a bomb on your back. They want you with a tape measure taking dimensions and you need a fire helmet. Even at Ewood been told they need to be pre-approved etc 1 Quote

As for away games that, I agree, is more of a challenge. 1 Quote

the original david brent Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I know there is over a week to go…… but the online seat map shows ticket sales have been somewhat underwhelming so far. I honestly thought they would fly out. Quote
Mattyblue Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Jack Walker looks far busier than it would normally with nine days to go. As a rule of thumb we played Wigan on the 23rd December 2019 at tenner a ticket and there were c17k home fans there. But that was a night game on Sky, so you’d hope we would top that this time for a 3pm, but I don’t think it will be much higher than that figure by KO. But of course with only 9k ST holders in a 30k ground you need to sell a hell of a lot of walk on tickets to get the place looking even remotely full. 1 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I'd say there will be roughly 16k there - Of course this weekends result will play a big factor in a few hundred either way. 1 Quote
tomphil Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Was hoping there'd be 16/17k home fans there seeing as it is in effect a Christmas Holiday fixture. Although at normal price it would probably be barely 12k home fans so it'll surely outdo that ! Quote

A week ago I was advised we had sold more for this game than we would two days before a similar fixture. I am really hopeful of 16-18,000 home fans. The JW stand looks like excellent sales so far as does the BBE Lower. Forever the optimist. Edited December 14, 2023 by Mike Graham 3 Quote
