Mercer Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Just back from a Christmas jolly! Wow, that bench. 1 down but still confident. Got Rovers win at 3-1 with SS and Leonard as anytime goalscorers all at 75/1. Bet on track! COYB Edited December 2, 2023 by Mercer Quote

booth Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Another one for Sammie that he usually scores. That's two in 5 minutes. Quote

B16Rover Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Cant help but think Mowbray would have us 3 nil up here. We lack the resolve that we had under Tony! Quote
booth Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 HT Not sure how Szmodics hasn't scored at least one. Tiredness I imagine. 1 Quote

Sweaty Gussets Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Sounds like one of those days. The players are probably running on fumes at this point. Quote
rovers11 Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Poor first half but the game is far from over. Moran, in particular, completely off it today. 3 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) FFS other teams play similar schedules but we are the team that is always the one to show tiredness. Complete bollocks. Moran playing like an under weight schoolboy too young yet to wank. Edited December 2, 2023 by AllRoverAsia 1 Quote

Oldgregg86 Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 We have shown enough in that half to give me confidence we can turn this around. COYB 2 Quote

AllRoverAsia Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Still, we came into the game a bit and could/should have scored at least one. It's only HT so still hope for improvement, might even see us make a tackle. Quote

Tbh, I think what I’ve seen of Garrett he’d be better than Trondstad has been today and if there’s anyone left footed in the academy get them on for Brittain. The only threat we’ve had down the left was from a Pickering overlap. Palmer knows Brittain is gonna switch it to his right foot and it’s making it too easy to keep nicking the ball off him. Some of them do look tired, but Szmodics is still charging about and Adam Wharton doesn’t look particularly slower, he just ambles around when we’re defending anyway. Quote
waynerovers Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 I still think we'll win the game. Sat in a sports bar in Budapest on my jollies to watch the arsenal game and rovers just happen to be on the TV to right of it. Happy days 2 Quote

booth Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 They should win the game, but whether they do is a different matter. Ended the half well and Wednesday look poor at the back. Quote
