If the hand is where it would be naturally to support body, no foul. Thought these commentators would know that. 1 Quote

It is in the Premier League at least Quote It is, however, considered natural for a player to put their arm between their body and the ground for support when falling, so long as the arm is not extended to make the body bigger. https://www.premierleague.com/news/1263332 2 Quote

joey_big_nose Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Weve played quite well, some beautiful football. But another one where not having a centre forward who worries a centre back means we have to work so hard to create a chance. 4 Quote

I see the point there, but I’m confident it’s a poor ruling, as a result of that argument. Sliding on the ground is dynamic and shouldn’t need support, making your body a bigger obstacle with the use of your arm - natural or otherwise - is gaining an unfair advantage, as far as I can tell. 1 Quote

booth Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) I prefer Hill at CB. We're weakened when he's not there and he doesn't look comfortable. And Brittain is bloody awful further forward. Edited December 9, 2023 by booth 1 Quote
