simongarnerisgod Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 it`s pretty clear what jdt thinks of telalovic that he`d rather have gamble and gilsenan on the bench before him,not telalovic fault,he should never have been signed tbh.patently not up to this level Quote
WacoRover Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 I’m looking forward to this; in west Texas visiting family, but I can sneak away to watch on ESPN+ 1 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 We’ve been playing without a striker all season 2 Quote

This is a return to the Dolan / Szmodics False 9 stuff. Really feel for Ennis, Telalovic and Leonard - what a snub this is for them. Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Fielding a full back in Brittain on the wing and Sigurdsson up front sums up this threadbare squad and patch-up-and-mend team. . You have to feel sorry for the manager Quote

It doesn't work Quote
Bethnal Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Like the formation, like the lineup, think it poses questions for them and looks like we will be trying to exploit the break. Don’t think Russell Martin is up to much and if you exploit his weaknesses, he doesn’t have a plan B. Away win, 2-0, but we won’t see much of the ball. Quote

TBF none of them has done enough to warrant a start and Leonard and Ennis are the best 2 of the 3 to have on the bench Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 This is crazy football - we're just letting them have the ball. They'll eventually pick a through ball to one of their quick attackers. Quote
yankfan Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 We’re getting trounced at the moment. Could have 3 strikers on and it wouldn’t matter much Quote
B16Rover Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 We don't look 100% on it today to me so far. You'd think the chance at a luxurious coach trip to the coast would have had the lads raring to go 2 Quote

I don’t disagree with the complexion, but we’ve got to let them cycle through their attacking routines and drills, run out of ideas/get frustrated and exploit that, when they start veering from the routines and they lose shape. We can try and exploit counter attack opportunities in the meantime, but we can’t create space for them, they’ve got to earn it. Quote

Hill really struggling to keep up for pace on the right. Quote

Can't quite work it out but seems like Moran is meant to be covering the right with Hill Infront of him? Seem to be playing a weird 4 5 1 when defending so far. Presume to limit space in gaps between defence and midfield but doesn't look natural so far Quote
