my biggest critique of jdt is that he can`t adapt his tactics, there is nothing wrong with putting your foot through the football, mix it up,even the legendary sides played the odd long ball

Let's see what he does at half time.

The long ball isn't our style so it's unlikely!

Come on lads we can win this. That second goal came at a good time..keep faith lads!

Bonkers match so far, both sides look crap at the back definitely more goals to come.

Great finish from Pickering

Deflected I reckon

Well-deserved that we came back into that. Second came through dogged determination and a rare spot of luck with the deflection, but well-earned.

Reset at half time but take the game to them. Hull will be that little bit unsure coming back out to a home crowd who will probably not believe the score if they went to the bar at 20 mins gone.

Big opportunity, but needs calm heads, hard work and presence of mind. JDT can instil that at half-time.

4-2 Rovers FT, one early from Telalovic, one late from Szmodics on the break.

Big, big deflection but well hit

That goal is why it's so frustrating watching us try to walk the ball into the net / score the perfect goal.

Just shoot - the GKs at this level aren't good enough to react to deflections.

Thinking the same, Garrett is always on a tightrope

Brittain has been saved at least 2-3 times by Markanday that first half. He's a fullback and should stick to it. His decision making going forward is terrible

Think we've played pretty well, minus the amateur-level defending for both of their goals.
Hyam has to take a lot of the blame for both, in my opinion.

Pleased with how Telalovic has done; looks an actual striker and unlucky not to score (hitting the post).

2 assists for Siggy as well, not too bad at all.

Need to tighten up at the back (5-3-2?) and the 3 points are there for us to take tonight.

he`s a defensive liability imo,far better going forwards

First goal from a ball over the top catching them out. Second one we attacked with a bit of intent, didn’t overplay and got a shot off quickly. Abandoning the principles has served us well when going forward here.

Agreed. Tbf jdt has implied this too. He. Is frustrated that the boys try and walk the ball in. There is a time and place for that and he wants us to shoot more from these positions

I reckon there will be changes at HT. There has to be!

Wharton for Garrett and someone for Brittain. As much as I've enjoyed Telalovic, he will probably get hooked on 60 minutes for Ennis or Leonard.

COYB.

The goals we let in are really poor defending but we have looked better attacking and Semir looks better than I thought linking up well and almost scoring hitting woodwork..
