sharpysharps86 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 What on Earth has happened to some of these players?? Brittain was one of our top performers for much of this season but the drop off has been crazy. Carter, Hill, Moran, etc. have all dropped off so badly. Not supporting the idea of sacking JDT at this point but this continues to be a deeply concerning downturn in form. Fail to beat Rotherham and it'll be extremely difficult to justify his position as head coach. 3 Quote

Hard to see where improvement comes from too - unless those dumb tossers in India finally decide to get rid. Sick and tired of it all - as no doubt 99% of us on here are. I predicted it after that ludicrous statement by Waggott. I'm surprised we've got away with it this long. 1 Quote

A bit crazy to rest players for this one, although we looked horrible against Huddersfield and changes had to be made. Quote

Doesn't know how to, we are playing balls across our own box on his say. The players don't have the ability and he is instructing then to do so. That's not a good managers tactics, that's the kind of thing any sensible manager cuts out not actively encourages. Ridiculous. 4 Quote
gazzaa2 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 How can we always have the leagues leading scorer but still be going nowhere in the league? Rhodes, Armstrong, Brereton, Szmodics. Another way of putting it, is how long can we rely on having the top scorer in the league to prop us up? 3 Quote
neophox Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Were in deep shit....4 straight defeats and only one win in december.... at an normal club JDT would had been sacked. But not sure thats the answer..... the problems are higher up the chain... 1 Quote
matt83 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 The answer is it’s been nearly 15 years since last had a decent manager Just now, gazzaa2 said: How can we always have the leagues leading scorer but still be going nowhere in the league? Thing is, we don’t really have the personnel for a plan B. No height, no experience, slow, weak as piss. It’s a very worrying situation. I can’t see a new man getting a tune out of this shower of shite either. Edited December 29, 2023 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! 4 Quote
Popular Post RoversClitheroe Posted December 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 29, 2023 JDT outs are funny as fuck. He's miles ahead of Mowbray, he just needs backing. 10 Quote

The fact we don't have the backing from the shysters in India to be able to do it is not the DoF or Managers fault. There comes a point were you as a manager and a man full stop say I need to change this style, it's causing us too many issues. It's simply not affective or enjoyable. The one or two moves a game that look pleasing on the eye and wow people are simply not enough. 4 Quote

We conceded from a corner, a ball over the top and some crap defending. We didn't concede from giving the ball away 3 Quote

pick32 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 JDT outs are idiots, he needs players who are fit, a recognised striker and some experience, the squads stretched the players are knackered and the young lads have there heads down. Can’t think of anyone who could come in and turn this around. Need some early doors January business, atleast try and get Gally and Pears back fit and Hedges and JRC by the end of the month 6 Quote

bigbrandjohn Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 First thing any new manager would do is change the system to lock up the defence. JDT needs to pretend he is that new manager 2 Quote
