pick32 Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 I’m JDT out now can’t see another win this season from anywhere 1 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Lowest I’ve felt under JDT era…. Niall Ennis has to be one the worst signings we’ve made, along with this goal keeper. Shocking performance AGAIN. There is only one way we are going and that’s toward relegation. DEAD CLUB 5 Quote

rovers11 Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 We are abysmal. Pretty passing football with no substance. What we'd give for a proper manager like Hughes or Allardyce. GB has done us over with a batch of dreadful summer signings. The fault squarely lies with the owners though for the shambles we are this season. 1 Quote

I guess it's why he's out on loan, to learn, but it's frustrating. He's a versatile quality defender in this league....unfortunately managed by a clown Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Apparently thoroughly entertaining game, 2-2 fair result, nothing between the teams. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 How are any of them suppose to play with that keeper. He is so bad it hurts to watch him. Fuck off Gregg. 3 Quote
Popular Post Ianrally Posted January 1, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 1, 2024 I have to say that the real heroes for me are the fans who go week in week out to watch that dross. By heart bleeds for you all. 10 Quote
neophox Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Markandy and Ennis subs today awful.....put on Travis and Garrett to see it out....poor tactics. 6 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Yeah that's it for me with JDT. 1 win in 8, 4 defeats in a row followed up with a home draw to bottom of the league. We all know that the problems run deeper and Venkys are to blame, but this style of football coupled with no real plan B and no defensive organisation isn't working anymore. Yes I know we have a shocker of a goalkeeper and recruitment has been rough, but this group is better than making such basic errors. A fresh pair of eyes is needed. 2 Quote
Ewood Ace Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Broughton has signed three centre forwards during his time here (Hirst, Telaovic & Ennis) in a combined 30 appearances they have not been able to muster a single league goal between them. The man is clueless. 7 Quote
Adam C Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Too many players in that team who are not championship standard. Wahlstedt, Moran, Markanday, Ennis, Leonard, Hill, might all be good one day but they’re not what we need right now. The squad is just not good enough. We’re in an awful run and showing relegation form now but it’s down to missing so many first teamers and having to rely on loans, free transfers and cast offs to bolster our squad. It all comes back to having no resources to replace the players we’ve lost and build a squad to challenge for promotion. Not the fault of JDT or Broughton IMO, the blame lies with Venkys. Sad times. 2 Quote
booth Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Just now, BigBar said: God forbid he doesn't ever try something different and you know, show a bit of initiative. All too cushy under naive Jon. Nice guy though. We played well today until a handful of players were knackered and had to make some subs. Rotherham didn't deserve a point, but that's what happens when the taps get turned off and you have owners and their underlings who don't understand the rudimentary demands of a football team. 2 Quote
neophox Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Also Brittain and Pickering again having dreadful games..... Quote

JPTSwindon Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Very frustrating and disappointing. Yes it will help when we have Pears back, but we need a striker who can shoot and probably a change of formation urgently. Feels like a Mowbry death slump at the moment. Quote
Torgeir Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Getting more and more painful watching this team. Mayday. Signings needed. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Lowest i have felt about Rovers for a long time. The standard of that squad is pathetic. 5 Quote
rovers11 Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 JDT has to go. You have to get the basics right to win football matches consistently in this league. The amount of goals conceded shows he has no idea about getting the basics right. Still, I don't think players like Leo are capable of doing the basics right. 2 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted January 1, 2024 Author Posted January 1, 2024 I think I’m officially past giving a fuck. 2 Quote
