Sounds like he filled the fans a load of bull, when he arrived too.

Sad story and fair play to the fans for the rebellion.

I mean I'm not sure he caused their full demise they did have a poor spell on consecutive seasons. Is a shame that the early premier league teams have dropped down the tables but such is football someone has to fill the lower leagues

I signed it.

These Reading fans are doing a great job there and have the right attitude towards what's happening.

They show up our fanbase completely. The reaction, or complete lack of, from so called fans of this club is completely and utterly pathetic.

We did all that, and more. It fell on deaf ears or we were lambasted by the football community for being ungrateful (and racist, if I recall).

It's difficult to influence your owners when they're insulated from the fans by thousands of miles and millions of pounds. If our losses were truly hurting their bottom line they'd have wound us up or sold us by now.

The Reading owner clearly wants rid and doesn't need the hassle.

A massive difference.

A quick reminder about tonight, boys and girls.

I really want to try and get this protest movement going tonight, and apply some pressure on the owners.

That was 12 years ago though.

For the last 7 years at least there's just been a deafening silence.

The way this fanbase just allows the club to control the narrative is criminal.

If the owners don't pay attention then it's up to us the fans to make them pay attention.

Most of the fans have drifted away - you just have to look at a match day at Ewood Park.

Is there a cat in hells chance that the authorities scrutinizing the Chicken and Football club killers that are Venkatesh hatcheries can be forced to relinquish their control on us due to unseen irregularities or whatever

No, probably not.  At least not until the Wharton money (and subsequent sell on) dries up, when (assuming Venkys still refuse to send any money over) bills and obligations start to go unpaid and the administrators are called in.

But as long as obligations are being met, they couldn't give a flying whatsit

It was very low on numbers.

For the time being, I’ll keep the Facebook page running I’ve set up, but it’ll be the last Zoom meeting for a while.

I missed this entirely, but would’ve been keen to join. I don’t use Facebook, but if there’re more updates, do keep us up to speed on here.

What football authorities are going to be seen or what unseen irregularities?

Also how do you forced owners of private owned business to sell?

Purely in reference to the bold bit, See Roman Abramovich

If it is the will of the authorities to get someone gone, then it happens

However in Rovers case (and indeed in most cases), the authorities have no will to do this

And whilst it probably will never come to fruition, apart from as some neutered, watered down version

A very unique set of circumstances including world events and politics.

The authorities won't do it cos Venkys aren't breaking any FA or EFL rules by not reinvesting too much of the money or spending their own money.

Also lets see what the bill is actually when voting on by both set of houses and I don't want to discuss too much that side other than it was be very water down by them and not wanted to upset clubs, owners or Football authorities.

But your question was not about general (or specific) circumstances, it was how, and I answered the question asked

But as I said original it was unique circumstances and the situation with Roman and the politics situation.

The Football authorities aren't going to forced Venkys sell it cos they weren't invest money into the club like we all want. That is what your post doesn't take into situation with the war and without getting too much into that money from the sale of Chelsea is still stuck in the bank and our situation with the Venkys which is utter and completely different

I understand fine, but your case is specific set of circumstances involved including world politics, a war in Ukraine involved 2 countries, etc but Its very different Venkys owners and why they won't reinvest huge amount and using sale money to cover the club debt.

I know the Chelsea and Roman case very well and the circumstances involved why he was forced to sell the club, the football authorities won't do that with Venkys

All falling flat on its face this mass protest Malarky isn't it folks?

Initial Fan anger covertly subdued (timely King Kenny appearance anyone? ),blame being cleverly diverted onto the departed Eustace, just watch abuse being orchastrated at him by Club 'plants' come the Derby Game....only needs a few and the rest will follow.

Eustace = Bad Man,control the narrative and then let matters blow over.

Job done by Swaghail,Season after Season the same Shit being played out before an apathetic fan base. They know damn well they can get away with it at Ewood.

Rinse and Repeat.

I think the main issue here is people not wanting to disrupt the players, while they still have a chance. And-despite my own belief that Venky's out is all that matters-I think that position is understandable.

The trouble is that Eustace's own behaviour has itself diverted some of the anger. I don't think Swag et al deserve much credit for their feeble propaganda attempts. That pathetic club statement was hardly Goebbels, after all!

We all know that there is no point in trying to organise a matchday protest, while the players need support.

As soon as it starts to look hopeless, matchday protests will have a bit more buy-in...Then, it will require proper, hearts and minds leadership., especially as the fanbase remains split with much of it supine...
