I say the stay aways are more damaging. Why not fill it (as much as possible) and make your voice heard there

I don't see how your reply relates to my post.

I made no reference to people staying away, just the general mentality of most of those who do still attend.

You won't get people coming back simply to protest, unless they throw the gates open and make it free, (no chance).

Many of those people will never return, whilst others may do so if the ownership finally changes hands.

I still attend at the moment, but I'm getting close to the end of my tether with it all.

It's like a toxic habit that I can't give up.

GeTbEhiiindTh3Lª4z FFS!

I'll return when venkys are gone.

I've got too much self respect to have the piss constantly taken out of me by a bunch of chicken farmers.

Rovers fans aren’t the most dissenting group of fans.

All that will happen is that ST’s will fall to their lowest possible level along with the gates. All the local kids will become ManU or Liverpool fans. Just as it happened after the 1960 FA cup final tickets affair.

In other words, Venkys will take us from being a successful Premier League club back to where we were at our lowest point. If they don’t F off, that’s what will happen.

I think they'll take us lower than that.

The awful thought that haunts me is that this is exactly their agenda...

"Don't blame us. The attendances were too low to survive!"

I'm sure this has been suggested (and protest against this ownership in any form is welcomed), but Venkys are impervious given the geographical distance/bunker mentality. What I do think would hurt them is a targeted campaign in India: billboards/advertising in Pune, banners at IPL games, asking Liam Livingstone to speak out in India (not sure how RCB Challengers would feel about that one).

And any attention, a simple message from the fanbase: 1. Steve Waggott goes 2. Suhail goes 3. Venkys fund the club, or sell at the first available opportunity.

Clearly they don't care about their reputation in the UK, but I'd be certain they will there. A big ask and would take time, planning and significant resources, but if someone like WATR were to crowdfund for a campaign like that, there'd be no shortage of Rovers fans (I for one) who'd want to be involved.

Yep. Give them "a war at home"...
