A hollow victory at best... not like we are two clubs jostling positions, they can have their glory it's hollow. properly been blind sided by our owners

Would you be saying similar if the roles were reversed?

What Jim said is the truth, it’s as simple as that.

They're visible, enthusiastic and engaged with the fans. That's a proper owner.

Since we were relegated from the Prem Burnley have had 3 promotions and could be heading for a fourth - something we can only dream about

The reality is compared to us they're a better run club, with better owners, better players and a better manager.

Along with probably 95% of the football league. It takes very little to better Venkys.

Whilst I agree with the last line of your post it shouldn't be overlooked that 2 of those promotions occurred under the previous ownership and currently they have Burnley one division lower than when they acquired the club.

Morning Everyone,

I'm in a number of whattapp groups with some supporters and supporter groups.

We've floated an idea yesterday to them including BRFCS, which the telegraph has promised to run with providing enough groups endorse.

To date EWMC, BRAG have endorsed and BRFCS require all owners agreement.

This request has also gone to Proud Rovers and WATR via different people within the whatsapp group, but we need other groups to come forwards too.

The idea would be BRFCS are the lead, given they have the largest reach out.

Myself or someone else will fill in the blanks once we have recieved replies back from the groups, though time is of the essence as I've been made aware of a load of PR due to drop from the club to try and distract from the growing issues supporters have.

The intention is a statement will be issued targeting the board and owners, where a clear action/response will be needed in advance of the next home game, or phase two will then be made active.

Sorry it's s bit vague this, but until the groups come back it's all I can say at thus point.

Thanks for the update mate keep thread updated 👍

Thanks Glenn. And thanks to anyone else who is doing anything proactive.

It's a great idea and I hope this is announced, as I am sure this will make an impact on those destroying the club.

To add some meat the bones,

I've spoken to some other groups today who also endorse this course of action.

We'd like to issue a statement politely requesting that Waggott, Suhail and Gestede do not attend any of our remaining home fixtures , to aid the support of the team.

Their attendance is a distraction due to many supporters desire for the removal of all three and the club to be sold.

At a time where it's mathematically possible to reach the play offs, the manager and players need our support and those mentioned need to play their part by staying away to create a positive environment rather than the toxic environment which may occur given the supporter unrest.

Obviously this ain't the statement but it's the cusp of what will be said.

This would need a response which the media would seek. Should they refuse, the protest and unrest is purely of their design

Any chance of adding Ismael to the list? ( I was going to end with a wink, but then realised I actually meant it).

We are moving into the draft phase, having gained traction with media outlets . I've spoken to a number of trusted journos and shared an initial draft and they love it.

We are waiting for a couple of supporter groups to come back. Quite a few have already  endorsed , whilst general supporter reaction on my twitter page is 98% positive with this course of action

Sadly a couple of groups declined, which don't help with unity, but we move forwards.

Sadly you’re never going to get unanimity but there will be far more people who will be with you than against.

Good luck and thank you.

This is an interesting approach and I am genuinely grateful for the proactive effort.

Assuming any response from those named will be to dismiss the request out of hand, what then? As that assumption is surely almost certain, I expect there is a plan in place for the "protest and unrest" that could have greater impact than previously? I appreciate details won't be shared at this stage but knowing there is a plan beyond the in draft communication feels very important to avoid bluffs being called. Thanks again.

How many different groups do we have? Seems like that's always been part of the problem, so many different groups, making it difficult to unite for a common cause (albeit, the cause is Rovers, and surely should be the primary aim of all Rovers groups)

You'd think so, I will list all endorsements once complete and everyone had opportunity to respond.

The intention is to give a cross section of supporters details in the release for media duties, so if anyone interested; please drop me a message.

Thanks Glen for coming back to the fore, people doubted you, and I myself stood behind your efforts too late last time.

Hopefully we’ll have a unified front now, fancy another march from town hall? Remember when we joined with Blackpool for a cup game with their lot chanting not a penny more, seems apt for us now

I'd need to buy ski's for my feet so i can see them lol.

I've been beavering away in background, I'm in a number of different whatsapp groups, and try and remain active on twitter.

It's refreshing to see lots of new people wanting to get involved, but also the level of support behind the cause.

Strangely despite the last town hall March amassing 1400 according to the police and more joining at the ground, there is definitely a greater number unified in "enough is enough".

Having clever people that are good at redrafting press releases, is great, whilst positivity for we go again is certainly growing.

As others on here will vouch, I've tried to be a sounding board for advice over the last 6 months, but it became evident that people wanted me to be more active in remobilising.

The AG have been extremely active since last year working away. Some have opted to stay retired, some are sadly not with us anymore. Whilst some of us are galvanised by the need to push for a better future.

You know me, already on with phase 4 before phase 1 launched.

It be pointless issuing a statement and admiring it.  We need purpose , not shallow words.

Timing is everything, and plans are being drawn for all eventualities

Our coin has 2 heads, so which ever way it lands we will be on heads 🙂

Interesting how we have two heads and the owners two hats 🤠 🤠

What's the aim? Is it progressional or going for the jugular

I appreciate what is being done, and can see where you’re coming from, but for me this is aiming at the wrong targets. Waggott, Suhail and Gestede (and Ismael for that matter) are just symptoms of the root cause.
Say this works to the extent that all three resign their positions, they’d just be replaced by more of the same - or, as history shows, even worse (if that’s possible)

I don’t want to sound like I’m being critical, because I really do appreciate the time and effort that people like yourself and others put in - and I honestly don’t have any better ideas - but the only way the club can move forwards to get rid of the owners - everything else is just a distraction imo

I honestly believe if Pasha was driven out, they would sell.

He is the owners eyes and ears and is currently telling them the club does not need their funding and can run itself.

He is ex Kentaro and has been here from the start.

I agree. The triumvirate of Waggott, Gestede and Pasha are the human shields for the Punekars and have as much blood on their hands as them.

They are far more accessible and easier to discredit simply because they are in this country.

I don’t disagree with this, in so far as those three are the human shields for the Venkys - they’re there to take the flak for the decisions and general mismanagement that happens above them (and they get paid a pretty price for doing so) and it’s working - it just feels like we’re aiming at the shields and not those hiding behind them, but hopefully I’m wrong and, as IraC says, it will help to force out the root cause of the problem too
