Fuck off Waggott, Suhail and Venky's.... and fuck your season tickets!

Gestede is a nobody, let's not make it easy for them to find a fall guy. There isn't one. We want the owners gone!

Just randomly heard someone from BRFC Actuon Group (whoever they are) on the radio on Talksport as I was driving along.

The Radio Station were making quite a big thing of the fact that they were asking Waggott, Pasha and Gestede to stay away from the last 8 games. They gave the lad that was on from the group a very sympathetic airing.

Well done to those involved for getting this into the public consciousness, and as others have said, if the owners become aware the spotlight of unwelcome publicity I'd finally turning on them it may start to  have a snowball effect.

Hello, daily visitor to this site for 20 plus years and one time regular poster.

I think the statement has been cleverly worded and the current situation has prompted me to post a comment for the first time in probably 15 years.

No one wants Rovers to return to the well run, successful club it is more than I, and a positive, unifying approach which relies on a calm logical statement rather than personal, vitriolic attacks is absolutely the correct approach and will gain the right kind of attention.

We dont know what the response is but this will clearly dictate the next steps so let's wait and see.

However for me there is one missing piece of the jigsaw which may add weight here, and again, only in a positive sense. In tandem with this approach I think it would be significant, and logical for those fans who have committed to stay away from the club until Venkys are gone to return for the final few games, boost the crowd and support an unlikely play off push.

Of course this would only be on the basis that the request of the statement is met and that the board stay away but for me this gives the Not a Penny More Crowd a great opportunity to back the club and not the ownership as they vociferously claim to do, whilst maintaining their integrity .

Forget the limited value to the owners of the cost of your ticket purchase, it would be a drop in the ocean, IF the board agree to stay away, make a point, vote with your feet, help put an end to the shame/myth of our poor attendances/fanbase and get behind the team.

Prove that staying away isnt just about apathy and that you really bleed blue and white, not just on a forum.

It would be great to see this campaign formally adopt this idea. Imagine what weight would be added if the home attendances were boosted by the many thousands that it appears are staying away for only one reason.

Good post, but I think it would need a few positive results in tandem with the miscreants staying away in order to boost attendances.

I am in the “Not a penny more” camp, but as I am an existing season ticket holder, I was still planning to attend remaining home games this season, anyway.

I’m sure there are others like me, but also people who are long - gone, and may not even return if the ownership changes.

Cracking work Glen and Co.

I have to say the statement reads perfectly to me. Highlighting frustration at the charlatans incharge but not waivering on our desire to support the players and backroom staff

The statement has all the politeness and skill of a family therapist with the central challenge forking electricity..Brilliantly done. Thanks to all for your hard work.

Hopefully the lenses of local and national media will be trained on the Directors Box at Fratton Park tomorrow to see if any of the stooges are there.

With a live Sky match next Friday at home hopefully they will be under even more scrutiny.

One things for sure, the focus from everywhere now will be on Waggott, Suhail and Gestede. Will they stay away or will they attend. If they attend what will happen?

My guess is that they’ll attend as Normal.

Then what?

Mission accomplished by those who had the idea.

It doesn’t really matter whether the three stooges are present or not, the media coverage has got it back in the news.

Rumour in Twitter that the club will make a statement about this situation. No idea if it's true though.

around 1pm, on Talksport, apparently

“We’ve taken your feedback on board and understand your frustrations. We’ve come to the decision that we will attend all first team, academy and ladies games for the rest of season”

According to some fans in the LT the only mistake Venkys have made in 15 years was sacking Waggott.

Unbelievable.

All those Venky apologists would soon change their tune if we were under new ambitious owners, who pumped millions into the club.

How can anyone back these awful Owners and their Acolytes after all that has gone before and continues to do so?

How can you defend the indefencible...

Through ignorance and stupidity.

Really clever whoever came up with this.. totally different spin to what is usually heard, creates a story and puts direct pressure on the local leadership rather than the absent owners.

Very smart.

Lots of brfcs involved in Coalition, Josh n co been invaluable

I would imagine without polling the members 🤦‍♂️ as an entity BRFCS cannot nail their flag to the mast even though the majority (I imagine) agree with the statement.

Good to see the mainstream media including the BBC picking up on this now. Don’t like the split infinitive in the headline though.

Well done to all involved in this. A collective fans’ voice is important in this fight and hopefully the various groups will stick together under one banner now

Suhail you imagine will be fuming.

Never seen his name mentioned so much, everyone will know who the shadow man is now.
