High time that bloke was put under some heat. Making his life uncomfortable is the first best step IMO. Fantastic work, Glen & co. I’ll wager the club statement will talk to needing director representation at matches or some similar bollocks. Edited March 28 by G Somerset Rover 9 Quote

Popular Post SuperBrfc Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 Fantastic work from Glen and all involved. Now is the time to get Suhail Pasha into the spotlight. If any journalists are reading this thread...home in on Suhail Pasha, also known as Suhail Shaikh. A man who was heavily involved in Venky's acquisition of the club in 2010, who acted as a fixer between Venky's and the wretched Kentaro. A man whose working background involves pet food and juice. He has zero knowledge of English football and Blackburn Rovers. Why then, is he the Chief Operating Officer of one of English Football's most historic clubs? What right or footballing expertise does he have to be making strategic decisions at Blackburn Rovers? These are the questions that need answering for the fans. 14 Quote

BlackburnEnd75 Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I would urge those with an account to argue their case in the comment sections of places where there is not a lot of support. For example the lancashire evening telegraph. Some really infuriating stuff on there. 1 Quote
Devon Rover Posted March 28 Posted March 28 32 minutes ago, glen9mullan said: Club statement imminent It's going to be a vomit-inducing "we are all in it together, with you", perhaps with a bit of defensive talk about how Venky's keep us afloat, a sprinkle of "worked with fans groups to put forward a generous season ticket offer" and a dash of "will someone think of the players, they need us all working together to support them, not causing distractions in the media", bullshit. 1 Quote
Browjd Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Thought VI interview was interesting - acknowledged a deep issue with fans and club. Didn't sugarcoat or play down etc. Quite liked it... Quote
Backroom Popular Post DE. Posted March 28 Backroom Popular Post Posted March 28 Great work by all involved. The club statement will be interesting. I only urge two things: 1) Anti-owner sentiment should not change due to a temporary uplift in results, if that happens between now and the end of the season. The last 15 years have proved time and time again that, with the exception of the L1 season, good results are temporary but the root cause of our failures remain permnanent for as long as these owners remain. By all means 'get behind the lads ffs', but not at the expense of protesting against the owners. 2) All communications from the club should be rebuffed unless they involve discussing the removal of the owners. We're long past the point of mending fences and working together. They must go and nothing else should be acknowledged. The club have become adept at nipping these movements in the bud by bringing group leaders into the fold with false promises of change. It has to be understood they aren't to be trusted and will never be a friend of the supporters- critical or otherwise. I trust Glen completely when it comes to doing things the right way. I hope his expertise and guidance will be given the importance it deserves. 17 Quote
Lucimo Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Fantastic work by all involved. Let's hope this is the beginning of the end for these fuckers. 4 Quote

JHRover Posted March 28 Posted March 28 My prediction for the club statement (If one is released). We share and understand fans' frustrations at recent results following the departure of John Eustace The owners remain committed to ensuring the club improves and progresses We all need to get behind the team and Ismael as they battle to finish in the top 6 The new structure being assembled aims to ensure a brighter future in the summer and no repeat of past mistakes Season ticket sales since Tuesday have been encouraging and we thank those fans for their commitment Communication is very important to us and we take on board concerns and are willing to work with fans. Textbook stuff. 2 Quote
BigUts Posted March 28 Posted March 28 The statement is basically what we all guessed it would be. But, but we have had open dialogue. Quote

J*B Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Interesting, they’ve opted to give fans a hall pass to vent their frustrations at such an important time. 3 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted March 28 Backroom Posted March 28 A statement so pointless that it should literally have just read "As part of their professional duties and commitments to the club, Blackburn Rovers’ senior leadership group will continue to attend games". Everything else is just waffle and bullshit. I'm sure the groups involved fully expected this response, so hopefully it just means phase two, whatever that is, proceeds immediately. 4 Quote

DanielMB Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) To be fair if they would agree to stay away they would all basically accept that they are a cancer to the club and would find it hard to return next season. Wouldn’t happen. Edited March 28 by DanielMB 1 Quote

It's the usual nonsense including regularly meeting with fans. Aside from the groups who won't challenge them whenever have they done that? When was the last media interview any of them did? They did away with the fans consultation meetings because they couldn't stand the heat. 3 Quote
Don Said Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Expected response from the ‘club’. Treating us as if we are idiots, telling lies, fabricating scenarios… and putting two fingers up and saying no to us. Creates the platform for the fans ramp it up, with a very high proportion of the fanbase on side. Let’s keep the momentum. Chess not checkers.. 2 Quote
