i predict we`ll carry on losing and the voices from the stands will get louder and more vitriolic,as swag is a hugely conceited man,i don`t think he`ll be able to cope, the clubs media spin will go into turbo mode  next week.hopefully this is the start of the uprising

Fair point... Because realistically we're not going to empty the ground, people will still go but maybe we can convince those people to at least not buy pints there and instead invest it in local pubs in the surrounding area and come at it from that angle. Reduce the income for them, make it harder for them to run/fund the club.

Yeh not buying pints, food and merch there I understand, it was season tickets that I query. Though I think most of those still going after all this probably want to support the club financially too. Guess there will be some who go out of addiction or sense of duty who might be willing to swerve spending further though.

Tbh though, as much as I like the general principle of trying to starve them out, I don't envision it working. They will simply spend even less on the club, think we have seen enough of them to know that. It will also devalue us to prospective buyers if they only look at the balance sheets. We know many will return after new buyers, but do they? And it's an unknown quantity either way.

Personally I think negative media attention, especially in India, is key to shaming them out of the club. I suspect they're closer to giving it up than when protests etc occurred.

The ONLY reason I will go next year is because my mum would like me to go to keep her company. I look forward to serious protests and imagining the creatures in the directors' box squirming. I can only pray that we are closer to the end than the beginning now that people are getting energised.

Neil Yardley's phone will be ringing off the hook this afternoon as Waggott/Gestede hurry to arrange an in-house interview to try and head off this anger and 'prove' their communication efforts via a comfy sit down chat at Brockhall.

That's the usual way of it - once the fans discover a plot or anger is building then do a 10 minute planned interview and come out with a few of the typical soundbites to try and pacify the support base.

You know it.

Eustace is about to get well and truly thrown under the bus.

’On course for the play-offs before he sabotaged our season.’

’Significant investment made in Jan’. Etc etc.

Great to see the media pick up on this today but I can honestly see only one way to get these cretins out, and that's with people voting with their feet. Even then I am not sure they will sell up. Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.

Easy for me to say as I don't go up often and follow more with away matches, and completely respect people who still go....
Be sad to see but I think most would take an empty Ewood to rid them once and for all.

we all know whats coming next season (usual summer of no investment,no contract talks with key players and all our loan players going back), a massive struggle next season and possible relegation, ewood will be empty imo,if it means the end of this rancid regime then it has to be

I understand 👍🏻 not being privy to what the plan is from the action group and others involved, all I'm doing is pointing out the inevitability of the only effective approach that we haven't attempted yet... Financially.

agree Neal, I'd boycott home games & merchandise as you suggest and then vocal protests at away games. Ultimately has to be a cohesive & unified approach, building on what's been worked on this week.

With no major saleable assets left, there will come a time in the not too distant future that they’ll have to either shit or get off the pot.

Fantastic interview Glen.

A calm and honest fan view. It's a great explanation of the reality and also quite sad to hear.

All we want is owners that care and show up... if not financially, then in person. One, the other or both.

Venky's out! I think today was the start of it.

Whatever works. Thing is, for me and for many others I'm sure, it was easier to put the blinkers on and ignore the ownership & "board" when on the field matters are going in a positive direction... You can somewhat wear your shirt with a bit of pride and feel at peace with buying one but when every single time things get ambitious these people FUCK IT UP and their ineptitude interferes with on field matters... That's when you feel that buying tickets, shirts, food, drink feels like you're not supporting the club anymore, you're supporting their contempt for the fans and mismanagement of this important footballing institute...

And that's what it is, contempt... If you were treated like this anywhere else you'd vote with your feet.

At the end of the day, the clubs fucked, there's no hope, plan or ambition, it's just existing on scraps, dieing of starvation, withering and rotting away. They're struggling to put money in, so make it even harder for them in my view.

NOT A PENNY MORE.

Just woke up and read the club's response.

As expected by everyone, it was totally insulting and said absolutely nothing at the same time.

Absolutely hilarious. A massive own goal. It goes to show just how thick they are that they've called our bluff.

It won't work this time.

Congratulations to all concerned, very impressed, and they are definitely on the back foot.

Henry Winter tweeting now - he's always understood our plight.

Fuck them, scum. Will forever hate what they have done to OUR club.

Lmao venkys have run this club to the ground. They used to play in the premier League when they took over. All the fans despise them.

Good thing they took over an English club instead of destroying an Indian one.

First off  well done to those behind this and made it happen...  excellent job.

As for the club  statement .. was as  expected... lies and more lies

Just shows what a  shitshow of a circus  they have created  - the disdain and contempt rings out very clear from their hollow syntax.

For me its stay away forever

CHICKEN  PLUCKER FOOKERS OUT!!

Unfortunately, I expect us to lose tomorrow to continue Ismael's absolutely honking start.

A week today we have a much trickier fixture than any of his others so far, if that starts going pear-shaped I think the majority of ground will turn and we'll be back at the sort of atmosphere we had in 2012 under you know who

The manager and players will also end up copping some flak but that's my gut feeling on how next seven days is going to go.. 👎

The only negatives ive seen(apart from the usual "where would we be without them" crowd of which there is significantly less than I thought) is a few people wondering what gestede has done to deserve being called out.

Overall a positive impact I'd say. Let's hope some momentum builds.

Will digest with others this latest development.

However my early thoughts is 1-0 to the fans.

They ain't ever responded to a statement from supporters before.

Tomorrow will be interesting

They've said they'll be there, and you wouldn't expect anything different really.

But that doesn't matter really, you've done a brilliant job of putting the state of the Club firmly back in the public spotlight.

The owners usefulness expired when they stopped putting money in around the same time as the Court proceedings and unless they're prepared to change their mind, they need to be gone ASAP.

In the very short term though the vitriol needs to be directed towards Waggott and Pasha, they've got away with murder for far too long whilst they run the Club into the ground and attending the remaining games needs to be made a pretty unpleasant experience for them.

I liked the softly softly approach of the guy who was on Talksport this morning. Ruled out action to directly disrupt matches as he acknowledged a lot of supporters still liked going to games and supporting the team. Makes you look reasonable and allows you to keep the moral high ground.

Well done to all concerned.
