You need an owner or owners who want to own the club, run the club from Ewood Park/UK and understand how footballing world works and will appoint a CEO and board who understand the area/supporters base, how to run the club, price ST and match day tickets reasonable for the fan base considering a number of financial situations of people in local area, communicate to the Supporters and improve the commercial operations of the club.

Even at our lowest the players still got paid (to my knowledge) can't see it changing now.

As soon as the players stop getting paid, that's when the authorities start looking (at last) and Venky's won't allow that. 

There are other people who have posted  on here today, who have been told about this. It isn’t 100% definite, but unlikely to have just been made up.

So far as being told to play certain players, I would like to put it out there that the current manager, was not appointed based on his record in his last 2 gigs and was certainly not good enough in those jobs to warrant the length of contract he got.

In my mind, it is therefore possible that he accepted that he would be told to play certain players and given what I was told about Forshaw, think this is more likely than him being chosen above all those other supposed applicants on his past achievements.

There’s enough to hammer the club with without resorting to tittle-tattle that probably isn’t true. You’re playing right into their hands.

I’m not reacting to some tittle-tattle. I know and trust the person(s) who have heard this and think it is highly likely to be true. If you heard something like this from someone you trust, would you not post it? 
I have not stayed 100% as the person who it came from hasn’t.

So the person who told you doesn’t know if it’s true either? And why would you trusting that person make it true anyway?

Tbf, the players not getting paid would answer a lot of questions about the last 4 games!

We've been here before.  Some fans threatening to protest, but never enough to grab the headlines or, more importantly, affect the ownership, management or general running down of the club.  Last time I called for protests on here I was told it would put the club's future in jeopardy.  Some future!

I'm saddened by recent events, and the possibility of reaching the playoffs cruelly taken away by incompetent owners and management who have no real wish to see the club returned to the first tier of English football.  They know all too well that it would put the club back in the mainstream media spotlight and show, with glaring clarity, their failings and unsuitability to own and run a professional football club.  So I bet they're loving it right now.  Eustace gone, poor manager in, squad demoralised, absolutely no chance of being in the playoffs, let alone promoted.  Job done boys, roll on next season.

I didn't renew my season ticket last year and I certainly won't be doing it this time around.  I may go to a few home games if the weather is fair and I have nothing better to do.  But that's it.  

Such a shame.

@glen9mullan Are there any ideas to target the owners via the Indian media?

I imagine some Indian journalists will be wary to target them due to the size of the company and their power.

With the court case at the minute they’re hardly in the good books of the government. We could try and ruffle some feathers with a sustained press attack of the next couple of months.
