Venky’s & Waggott Out Protest Ideas

I’m maybe being too hopeful, but I can see a shift in the way Waggott answered questions relating to the ownership. Previously the answers have always been very definitive with statements suggesting the club is absolutely not for sale and that the club is the owners baby blah blah blah. This time Waggott appears less sure saying that they have not been asked to seek investment and he has even gone as far as to say every team is potentially for sale with the right offer. I think there may have been a shift in their thinking…I’m clinging to this anyway!

Interesting that they replied to a question, about contract negotiations with the assertion that it was difficult at this time because we didn't know what League we would be in next season.

First of all, that is ludicrous--- there is no chance of promotion or relegation.

But secondly they have directly contradicted their own newly-appointed manager who has openly  admitted we have no chance of making top 6!

They are all at sea and lying on this one.  The truth, more likely, is that they have no  funding  at this stage to pay the likes of Brittain ,Travis etc because the owners have made no decision.

Suhail claims they are still funding us but that's another lie.

Well, it could be an unintentional slip, in view of rumours about failure to pay wages? A points deduction would certainly put us at risk of relegation, given our awful form...

More absolute lunacy on the latest LT article about the sale of the club. 

Again, just one post in support of the club being sold about about 20 in favour of the owners.

Good that the club came out and did that interview. 

But the fact of the matter is that this club is declining at an alarming rate and nothing I heard in that interview makes me think that will change.

The interviews were fine but the only questions us fans want asked are: Do the owners know that they are at the point of no return with the fans and nothing they can do will change that? Are they aware that the vast majority of fans want them to sell the club? If they do, why are they not putting the club up for sale?

If you listen to the BBC Radio Lancs interview, Andy Bayes asked those questions.

The answer was depressing. Essentially they are going nowhere.

Insulting to genuine supporters, frankly. The brass neck on this guy. You were here for a cup of tea and left as soon as you could mate. Your goals won us nothing other than more mid-table mediocrity. You aren't a club legend nor do you have any reason to "be a fan" of the club, considering how quick you were to leave the first time around. The only reason you're here now is because no other club at this level is shambolic enough to give a total no-mark like you such a lofty position. 

As far as I'm concerned you care about career advancement, nothing else, and for the record that's fine. I don't expect employees to have the same loyalty fans have - but nor do I want or need employees claiming equal passion as genuine fans when it's obviously not true.

Just own up to it, the problems all result from the 15 years of Venky mismanagement.

To me, the one pertinent question is what in 15 years of Venky ownership has improved ! In that time, we have seen the club twice relegated, the ST and match going base decimated, the fan experience deteriorate to what must be the worse in the EFL and the condition fabric of Ewood itself, be wilfully neglected. We were rightfully proud of our club and now we are embarrassed by what it has become. Enough is enough, time to regain our club.

Good to see them rattled but I cant see anything changing.

They just say the same things, the owners clearly arent interested but they claim they are. Lots of excuses, lots of hot air, lots of waffle.

The work done in the last week has been excellent in at least rattling them although I do think there is maybe a little lack of direction regarding the next step. Depressingly feels like a lost cause though, the only solution is an ownership change and it wont happen.

It's just very strange, he admits to being involved with the purchase of the club by Venkys back in 2010, he admits to have been hands on at the club since 2015, and now a decade on he finally offers himself up in public but much of his topic of discussion is about what I would describe as fairly trivial matters in the grand scheme of things.
