What are the legalities around a sit in?

Fans just not leaving the ground after a match (maybe the final home game of the season?)? Obviously I'm sure it's 'illegal', but 15k people staying in their seats to protest the regime would have some impact.

Can we please stop the ruse now that we have any chance of making the play-offs? Anyone who’s watched the team since January knows its been over for a while.

Let’s keep the pressure on, the only way forward is for the owners to sell the club. Every fan remaining with any fight left in them needs to get behind this cause.

There will be no club left otherwise. Sorry to say but #ExpressYourself isn’t enough. I couldn’t make it tonight but only a few chants and banners heard on TV is not enough. Even after everything that’s happened, 6 losses out of 7, the worst form in the Championship in the last 20 games. If that’s all we can muster it’s pathetic.

They've strangled the life out of the fan base over the last 15 years.

The task now is rousing them again - the protest leaders have a job on their hands. They've definitely made an excellent start, but I hope they're in it for the long haul.

Disagree, action is needed now, wait till the last game of the season it’ll be over before we know it then a 3 month break will break all momentum, fans clearly aren’t united, huff and puffs won’t do anything. Game stoppage is the way I’d go starting with the next home game vs Sheffield. Hey maybe they’d also be on board with the idea.

There's a feedback thread on here - they're crying out for volunteers...

Sadly haven't seen or heard any protests tonight. Looks like the fans have given up

I watched on telly and smiled. Venkys out chants were audible and clearly ringing around the ground from the first whistle. Express yourself was the right choice for this point in the fight to get our club back. It made an absolute mockery of Suhail trying to suggest it was just one fan group.

Many fans would like to see more but you also get a decent proportion who don't like to feel as if they are being spoke for. The last thing we need is a divided fanbase. My feeling is that tonight was an extended hand for all fans to join the cause, which the majority did. We're aligned and that's a win in my eyes. Now it's onto the next phase.

There’s been a massively impactful campaign the past week, tonight saw constant chants against the regime, next season will see a compete collapse in attendances.

What ‘protests’ are people expecting above that? Lads with bedsheets?

Jack walker upper was good at the start and very vocal but soon died down to any chants. I had one bloke shaking his head at me for chanting we want venkys out. Its not drunken finger pointing anymore it's real and some people can't accept it.if you wanna watch shite with no passion or joy every week and pay over the head for it carry on.

I don't care if we lose 2-0 I don't care if we lose 10-0 just want a proper cohesive club top to bottom, run professionally, appointing the correct people for the long term goal.

We’ve had the same as tonight and more vs Plymouth in the stadium.

It’s been a good start and I agree, a hugely impactful week but the pressure needs to be maintained and more. Hopefully Glen and co have more up their sleeve.

Happy to help in any way I can, and I’ve already got a banner that’s better than a bedsheet!

Can the fans form a wall around the ground to prevent the opposing team from entering the grounds?  If the climate protesters can do it surely fans can do it. That’d make a statement of the match was canceled or delayed due to fans preventing the opposing teams coach from entering the park.

I watched it in the pub (alone) and heard a few chants but nothing especial.

The half empty ground and conceding 2 in the first 10 minutes showed how much of a basket case we've become under these owners and board.

it`s the beginning of the end, where we start plunging down the leagues after this season,in the extremely unlikely case of rovers spending large amounts of money this summer it`s nailed on that we down next season, especially with key players obviously going to being sold this summer, expect the protests to get louder and more visable when it happens

They won’t as there will only be the absolute hardcore left, and the vast majority of those will want to ‘get behind the lads, as who else would buy us?’

The ‘protest’ next season will be the banks upon banks of empty seats when we have only c5,000 ST holders.

This evening illustrated that staying away is the only effective form of protest remaining.

There are simply not enough people left in the ground to voice an effective protest.

Don’t buy season tickets and don’t buy home match tickets.

Not a penny more.

The sky audio have ways to turn down fans - they do it all the time.

Cro magnon man with an ego as a CEO and we wonder why we fail.

Get that chancer out of our club. Failed footballer, dubious agent (see Andy Cole's biography) and a failure of an executive at every club he's been at.

Yep - we’re caught red handed turning it up for YNWA for Liverpool the other day.

Besides, not a chance sky would be on supporters side for this.
I remember they had a countdown clock like transfer deadline day next to Bolton and Bury badges when they were about to go bust - they couldn’t care.

Tell supporters who wants to attend any of the remaining games of the season to bring inflatable snakes... #expressyourself

As for myself, I'm done spending money on a club that I have supported for 30 years until new owners are in place. 15 years of this madness is a long enough time already.

New owners, new board, new manager, new beginning.
