I suspect we're in the bottom 3 in the Championship in terms of wage bill.

As for bigger fan bases - we seemed to do ok 15 years ago. It's incredible what 15 years of owners strangling the life out of a club will do to attendances.

not quite, Oxford, Portsmouth, Plymouth and Derby will be the bottom 4

But Rovers probably in the bottom 6 or 7

It's actually been pointed out it averages out at nearer 15 million a season.

In terms of transfer money spent and received it's probably not far off balancing out, so this theory that they've 'invested' 20 million every season is just that... a theory.

The 2011 accounts to the 2024 accounts show a combined profit on intangible asset trading of £13.2 million.

This doesn’t show the whole picture as:

2011-2014 = intangible asset trading loss of £28.5 million

2015-2024 = intangible assets trading profit of £41. 7 million

These figures include the summer 2010 window which obviously predates Venkys ownership.

My final post probably until I'm back , whilst we are discussing legals.

The club have appointed forum and Internet spotters looking for absolutely anything they can use as a road for legal action.

I've been notified "they've put a bullseye on you and despite it being badged a coalition the club's focus is taking me out".

As you can see it's a difficult personal position to be in. I need to be squeaky clean in all I do , I need to be careful on what i post, what i say and in truth my personal movements.

This ain't landed well with the Raos , livid probably an understatement.

We are very close here at toppling the king.

I'm more than happy to step away and it's never my intention to mislead or doup supporters. I care deeply about this club, and my love for it keeps me wide open for anything that can be thrown.

I've got good support within the coalition as more groups join with the Norwegian supporters group being the latest one to join up. We've also had some amazing support from some supporters including many on here, some of which are in the steering group.

We are possibly just 4 groups away from a full suite

Imagine if the Execs were so diligent when it came to running the club, eh?

Just imagine if you were an agent/agency who came in and said 'you buy the club, agree to keep the lights on and get the advertising and door opening from it. Whilst we in turn will run it and deal with all player/director/coaching staff and manager trading then take our commission etc on that as our fees.

Things would be looking quite rosy for the middlemen by now after nearly 15 years.

By getting new owners, we will not see more than 20k at Ewood. What we will see is a lower wage bill, therefore the quality of players we can attract, will be significantly poorer. Not a chance we get the likes of Cantwell and Beck.

Drivel.

We don't get anywhere near 20k now.

We couldn't get less quality of player really -max £1m or so spent recently?

Cantwell peanuts. Beck loan?

Try harder.

we were aware of at least three serious bids to buy the club between 2016-19

What sort of people are we talking? British people or overseas people? Are they still interest in buying us?

Venkys don’t have that luxury because of the dodgy nature of agent involvement when they purchased the club, and the fact that THEY have caused our downfall. The best case scenario for Venkys is to return us to where they found us, and have all their skeletons come out the cupboard.

And do you seriously think any of that will be made public? Doesnt The government, PL, FA and EFL are all aware of what happened back then? What change?

Not sure your 'choked on their onion bahji' comment earlier would have been the wisest then if i'm honest

I want them out btw and would take league 2 for it to happen....but i thought it was a silly comment at the time

It’s happened in our very own town, the Euro Garages brothers, attempted to buy McColls, Cafe Nero, made their offer on Asda, all went public. However, businesses don’t have pressure from “fans”, our club does.

It makes absolute sense to do so.

Firstly, you’re so obviously on the payroll it’s hilarious. How much are you getting per afternoon/evening of spewing nonsense?

Secondly, you clearly haven’t a clue about M&A.

Hope Im not speaking out of turn, but if you need some help with the legals hopefully we can set up some crowd funding.

It might be time to put our hands in our pockets, especially if we are close to toppling the king.

Great shout, I'd happily throw a load of cash at this effort.

Not sure if Toppling the king refers to Waggott, Suhail or The Rao's. Great work in any case though.

I did wonder, after one of your previous posts where you mentioned about The Rao's being furious about recent events, if there would be some big reaction from them in anyway?

The never want to sell, sadly, but do seem willing to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic at times.

He's clutching at straws. A new owner couldn't pay the wages for a Cantwell or better? A new owner couldn't pay the loan fee + wages for a Beck or better? Give over. That is nonsense.

Crowds won't reach 20k if Venky's leave? Doesn't have a side in the argument, but based on those posts, Venky's are doing alright.

Significant investment. Be grateful. Things will be worse without them. Standard themes.

I have to say, the idea that Glen and Waggott are actually buddies plotting against Pasha is a belter. Haha. Ridiculous, but pure gold. That would make for a cracking movie plot.

Okay. I have looked into this now and here are my thoughts about crowd funding.

If Glen does not end up needing any funds for legals, perhaps we can choose to donate the amount raised to a local charity or someone local with a need, such as the special care babu until in Blackburn.

A bit like the statement for the 3 stooges to stay away, we could perhaps put a statement out to say, the very club, who Glen has supported for the whole of his life, are now threatening him with legal action and we are setting this fund up to help him just in case.

If this gets the same publicity as the previous statement, it will show the owners and officials, threatening this in a very bad light and given that the owners are livid and the king is close to being toppled, this could help to tip the king over the edge.

Could anyone prepared to pledge, please make suggestions for a charity to benefit from this, if Glen does not end up needing the fund and I will speak to the most popular suggestion and then, start a funding page.

What's going on at Ewood is clearly as disaster, and the current ownership make it almost untenable to continue to support the club.

But what is the perceived end goal of the campaigns to get rid of them?

Rovers are losing £20m/year consistently. The wage bill is 120% of turnover per most recent accounts. And Venky's are owed £140m from the club.

So at a bare minimum, there'd need to be someone out there willing to give Venky's at least the value of the clubs assets in returning for taking ownership of a business that's going to lose them £20m/year (else Venky's would be better off liquidating it).

Does such a person exist?

And then the reality is that the Venky's are unlikely to simply walk-away from their* £140m. So it's going to cost a good bit more than the asset value of the club.

I struggle to see a way out of this.

Complete bollocks
