It’s just at a gargantuan level compared to clubs like Rovers in the Championship and below. How they run poorly tho? I would say they need to keep Ange and back him in the summer with some quality signings. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted Sunday at 18:45 Posted Sunday at 18:45 key centre defenders out and number 9 striker was always going to have a negative effect on things there. Should be doing better and should have 2 or 3 more squad players last summer Quote

If Glen does not end up needing any funds for legals, perhaps we can choose to donate the amount raised to a local charity or someone local with a need, such as the special care babu until in Blackburn. A bit like the statement for the 3 stooges to stay away, we could perhaps put a statement out to say, the very club, who Glen has supported for the whole of his life, are now threatening him with legal action and we are setting this fund up to help him just in case. If this gets the same publicity as the previous statement, it will show the owners and officials, threatening this in a very bad light and given that the owners are livid and the king is close to being toppled, this could help to tip the king over the edge. Could anyone prepared to pledge, please make suggestions for a charity to benefit from this, if Glen does not end up needing the fund and I will speak to the most popular suggestion and then, start a funding page. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiK0_TC3sGMAxWbiVAGHTKhKbIYABACGgJkZw&co=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqcO_BhDaARIsACz62vNW4jnqHWvEndcUi71RzpobL8fkyt5-wzi7gj1FppIka6x4dDnotyEaAkoUEALw_wcB&cid=CAASJeRoCtCwN0PJvSgHIpNwKuyaSUqanSa8_BXcOOhpRU1iFwzy0PQ&cce=1&sig=AOD64_3-gaEPG5yE13gL0_AYxDb8DbgFSQ&q&adurl&ved=2ahUKEwjc7PDC3sGMAxXQQkEAHVHCLaMQ0Qx6BAgTEAE Nice one Carl. Additionally, I'd be eager to raise funds for a party of willing Rovers fans to travel to Pune for some peaceful, visible protest in the style set by (and coordinated with) the Rovers groups. Would undoubtedly create more column inches here and be highly embarrassing for the Venkys. 5 Quote

All thanks to Glen and most of the fans groups putting on a united front. It just has to be obvious to anyone with even the remotest idea of how professional football clubs operate that surviving simply by bringing through youngsters, selling them and reinvesting none of that money into the squad cannot ever succeed. A club can’t survive like that never mind prosper. Waggott and co deep down know it. So far none of them have the balls to face down the owners over it. Time for them to stand up for the overriding good of Blackburn Rovers FC. If they don’t, they deserve everything they get. What calibre of youngsters will we attract when we are in Div 1? Quote

When he pressed about it he was told yeah we'll discuss it at the end of the season...guess what 'When we know which division we'll be in'. He also knew they'd been sounding out other people so i think he just gave up and had his own people putting the feelers out whilst advising some of our own players to leave. All added to ruining the second half or that season and they were all shitehouses imo only concerned about themselves. They SHOULD have been straight with him though after the service he'd given. This is how they treat people. Mowbray was a loyal servant to them, took the attention away from the owners, played a huge part in dumbing down the club and fanbase to keep everything under wraps, played the players he was told to play. When it came down to the end they just blanked him completely until he left. That's how venkys treat people loyal to them. 5 Quote
