I don't care if they're wealthy or not. Just someone who actually gives a fuck will do for me.

I'd be more than happy to have a fan owned Rovers.

Just throwing ideas about but Harold Varner III is an American pro golfer for those who don't know and is a well known Rovers supporter (he was at a game at Ewood the other week)

On his own not wealthy enough to make a  move ("only" worth around £30m), but I'm sure he would have contacts in the USA rich enough to form a consortium.

Yea its gone past triumph and glory at this point.

For the love of the Blue and White Halves

For the love of our history

For the love of Jack Walkers Legacy. Honour that and you'll become part of it. Who wouldn't want that.

The 2 cock-blockers( another word for male chicken) are not done milking BRFC , they'll block any approach ...there was a rumor of BAHRAIN SOVEREIGN FUND looking at us few years ago... CBs did their job

CB = cock blockers ...

we have the best CB pairing in modern football

We wouldn't be able to function - you need someone (or a consortium) who can find the funds to initially buy the thing (whatever nonsense value the Venkys put on it) and absorb tens of millions of pounds a year in losses whilst you got the club back on it's feet.

Watching Villa - PSG. We could’ve been there, we could’ve had that. If only we we were in the Prem, top half perhaps, and let’s say we got new billionaire owners and could build from there… wait a minute…

Well, we did win a match after all.

That’s the worry, we have had a go again but it just seems to blow over and we struggle to maintain momentum. It will all be back to business as usual for the three stooges now and the idiots in Pune are probably blissfully unaware. It will be the financial ST disaster pending which might be something they can’t ignore !

I’m afraid it’s run its course for this season (unless we lose both over Easter and you may see something against Watford).

Just the way it is as most fans are purely results driven. As I said yesterday the next stage will be the collapse of STs and so crowds in general next season, that will be a bigger visual and financial protest than anything else.

When it goes full circle and Bury are at the same level as us again, which will happen as i think they will get to the football league in the next 4/5 years or so and we'll either be 3rd/4th division by then, there will still be some saying "but we could end up like them".

It’s the only effective method of protest left.

The home attendances are too small to mount an effective protest within the stadium, and many who do still attend would not join in.

The next stage of this must be to actively bring potential buyers to the table through our network, friends, etc. Waggot said they would consider credible offers. Let's find them.

Agreed, until a buyer/consortium can be put together Venkys will not have to address the structural issues, they can just keep batting away questions like Waggott and Pasha tried in their interview, ignoring problems and convincing enough of the fans that things could only be worse, which we know is nonsense.

It would be great if "celeb" fans could be involved somehow, even just registering desire for change. Thinking Matt Smith, Liam Livingstone, Harold Varner etc.

Yep it needs a serious genuine bidder with the correct finance structure and plan to step up and make an official offer.

That then gives those in the middle nowhere to hide because it's a public offer and the owners will get to know about it, it'll also ramp pressure on them to pull their fingers out instead of easily batting off questions with the same old shtick.

The owners might still say bog off but at least fans have something to cling to and can't settle for the same old BS.

Sadly it'll probably never happen because any interest will just keep watching and waiting for admin or a plummet down the leagues first until we are worth a fiver.

If someone is out there please step up !

This isn't as far fetched as it sounds you know.

Could be a big part in the cog
