There definitely needs to be a language change. Whenever a happy clapper says they've invested £300m it needs called out. Its not been invested its been lost. I didn't invested £60 in my car when I filled it up at the weekend.

The owners used that for their court case. They needed permission to send funds, to protect their investment. If spending circa £300m to produce an asset worth £50m at best, then the definition of investment needs changing.

Investments can be both good and bad.

I’m sure we all agree which category Venkys ownership of Rovers falls into.

No surprise it’s those that have family connections. I imagine the Coar extended family come out with this claptrap too.

Can’t say I’ve heard much anti-Glazer stuff from ‘honorary’ directors or ‘ambassadors’ at Man Utd either.

when they say they have invested 300m ... first question "who's money?" , second question "if its good ,clean, clear funds free from lien , how is your court stopping you from sending your money to your business and forced you to liquidate your house you bought with your money?"

simple questions which nobody asks

Not defending them for 1 sec but the questions have been answered albeit by the billy bullhitters classed as CEO & COO.

The fraud squad over there haven't turned anything up yet other than miss spending money sent for the football club on personal property.

They CAN send money but don't want to because of the alleged pound for pound guarantee.

Unless the investigation suddenly blows up then we have to assume it's nothing other than them being clueless on certain things as usual.

The focus at the min is on this end and those who are seemingly now running this club into the ground bit by bit.

Its not "investment", its paying the unavoidable bills. If they had invested £300M  we would have something to show for it.

Example---£7M was invested in Diaz and they lost all of it.

I detect a shift in policy back towards the 'academy model' that JDT was employed to oversee and which Eustace ditched.

Unfortunately for them despite running with the academy model and JDT doing a good job with it by handing first team action to numerous academy lads whilst sustaining a competitive side, he was too good and had us in promotion contention. Added to that he was hungry and ambitious, and wanted promotion. A bad mix for this lot, so he had to go.

They made quite a mess even of JDT walking out, and by the end of that process had set us on a path for relegation to League One. Eustace was all about fighting fires for the first few months and ensuring survival was achieved.

Eustace has shown in his jobs that he wants tried and tested experience to call upon. Weimann, Batth, McFadzean and a distinct lack of academy players getting debuts during his time. This lot want some quick cash from academy lads coming through like Adam Wharton. Eustace was never going to play that game. Again too ambitious and wanted results first and foremost.

Lo and behold now Ismael has turned up it is back to the previous approach, in a few short weeks we are seeing Tyjon and Montgomery in the thick of things. Such a move will earn him credit and time with the regime as they greedily eye another project and sale or two to improve their figures and get their bonuses.

I wonder what congratulations and rewards the stooges got from India after the Wharton sale went through. I bet they sat around congratulating themselves late at night as they worked out what perks they would get in return as a thanks from India. Now they want more.

While all this is going on remember that results on the pitch, developing, getting anywhere as a club - all totally and utterly irrelevant yet they expect you to pay for more of it.

The previous 30% youth policy under Broughton, under money saving instruction from his bosses, nearly got us relegated and they had to get Eustace in to stop that rot.

If Ismael doesn't get some backing he'll finish the job but i remain convinced some inside Ewood would be more than happy with a new low level low cost league 1 BRFC.

Maybe not initially but if we dropped to league 1 and were right up in the promotion mix, you'd expect some half decent crowds too, the winning feeling will always stir interest on that front. From what I've seen, league 1 is the poorest it's been for a while this season as well so even with departures we'd probably be up there with a team we cobbled together.

I don't think Swag especially would be too concerned about relegation given his short term/selfish goals....

I don't think it's the actual aim i just don't think some of them way up in the top offices care if it happens because it will present other opportunities that are already known.

Such as owners getting away with sponsoring club annually for less money rather than the benefactor model, downgrade academy and fit everything onto one site - already mentioned a few years ago. Then flogging off whatever they can to pay for it all and take their commission.

Already tried but thwarted.

Listen to Suhail words in the interview about everyone expecting us to be relegated last season, they absolutely know running with the model they now do it's a massive risk and it's inevitable sooner or later.

So why do it ?  Why not manage upwards and tell the owners we really need a bit extra to strengthen and guard against the drop, instead it's just a shoulder shrug and a prayer or two then wing it.

Rudy Gestede is appearing on Sam Allardyce's podcast this week, no doubt to go all out on the charm offensive for these arseholes who own and run our club.

I can't understand how/why he is getting on podcasts. He had an average at best playing career and has done a diploma and a bit of work experience in football club management. What knowledge and eye-opening experience does he have to impart on the masses? Imo, none.

I'm sure Sam will reign it in on this one, but it's fairly interesting considering how critical he has been of venkys on past episodes.
