Venky’s & Waggott Out Protest Ideas

Recommended Posts

by the start of next season,id`e like to think the number of season tickets sold will be so pitifully low that there will be no need to protest because there won`t be anyone at ewood, apart from the happy clappers and away fans, thats the best protest imo, though it would be churlish not go and pin a few venkys out posters on  the gates of the blackburn end😁

I think that’s the route we go down, personally. That statement seems to have finally woke up a very apathetic fanbase, though, judging by the reaction on Facebook.

Tbf I've been a member of the Rovers page on Facebook a while and they woke up to venkys bullshit some time ago bar a few deluded posters

Just get posters of Pasha's face with various word/phrases and display them during games. Seems to work well as 2 managers gone within days after mentioning his name in the past 12 months.

What is he going to do? Sack the fans?  Probably increase the price to stop even more people buying tickets that'll keep him safe in his little bubble 🤣

No better time than friday for banners to come out of coats

1st has to be waggot & pasha

SACK THE BOARD

its a must for the skysports cameras - a good time would be the last minute before half time  cameras would be full on the banners / flags wake the world up again.

Nothing as changed we are now 5 managers down the line & every manager as either quit walked away or been sacked cause of waggots corruption.

Last januaury was Gregg & JDT they was both made to be scape goats

Then we have to turn against the owners, turn to india maybe hit the IPL & BOLLYWOOD 2 OF THE BIGGEST THINGS THERE IS IN INDIA

NO1 THE BOARD

Well this never happened

Unlike Waggott’s knee jerk reaction…still digesting the news & thinking of next steps. We will see what happens over the next few days with regard to a future protest.

Initial plan in my head though is that some form of protest is essential at the next home game v Plymouth, targetted squarely at the door of SW, Suhail and the Rovers board.

Meeting on the Darwen End side where the players & executives walk into the ground around 1.30pm then walking to the Jack Walker Statue with banners and the like. A peaceful protest outside the ground but get behind the lads in the ground during the game. Regardless of any manager changes over the coming days.

Nothing has changed since the original post of this thread on January 23rd 2024.

Nothing changes at BRFC until the cancer of Venky’s is removed 🐔 🥀

Odd thing to downvote when that’s exactly what will happen.

Odd thing to say for a Rovers fan to downplay the effects of any protest on a protest thread. Are you on the Venkys payroll?

I admire your realism and you’re probably right but there is no greater time for action than now.

What will it do? Probably nothing on its own, but if there is a steady and consistent effort from the fan base we have left, and all of us are united, we can grind them down.

All power to you, but there ‘won’t be a steady and consistent effort from the fanbase’ at the ground.

We had all this a year ago, it lasted about half an hour - we will see exactly the same again, the remaining match going fanbase isn’t interested. Christ the vast majority weren’t even interested in 2011 and 2012. What’s the actual large scale show of dissent folk show when it comes to Ewood? They just stop going.

If that’s me being unhelpful in your view, fair enough, but surely we need to be looking at something different than the tried and failed matchday tactics, it’s done bugger all in fifteen years.

All ideas on the table. Whatever happens needs to come with an educational piece for the fans with their head still in the sand and the wider media.

Hopefully there will be a greater consensus now after what has happened, the ill judged club statement and the support from WATR. It’s a start.

Yes, a sustained media campaign, social media obviously paramount.

We need to remember that those who have somehow ended up running BRFC are ‘the club’ to a hell of a lot of fans. To us, *we*, the supporters are the club as we are the perennials, but that’s not how many see it, they will blindly swallow anything that comes from an ‘official’ account as that’s Blackburn Rovers in their eyes.

So the likes of Wag-ail have a head start in the PR war, so we need a co-ordinated campaign from WATR and whoever else can get hold of the narrative.

And the reason it only lasted about half an hour was because of blow hard dick heads gobbing off at seasoned organisers like Glen Mullan.

The end result was a few tennis balls. If people had just piped down and been humble enough to listen to some actual advice then something could have been achieved.

As it stands now, I don't give a fuck anymore. Protest, don't protest, I couldn't care less. I'll continue not giving them a single penny as I have done for fifteen years.

"What has that achieved?" I hear you ask.

I've achieved in not being taken for a fucking mug by these cunts.

Edit: wasn't having a do at you matty, even though it sort of reads like that.

For me, it has to be a boycott. We’ve had all the chants inside the stadium before. They don’t care. The only way it was hit them even more is if we stop going. Waggot’s kept his job because he keeps increasing the club’s revenue (or so he says). Only an empty stadium will speak volumes. Not for part of the game, but for the full 90 minutes.

We’ve lost 10,000+ fans on their watch, normal owners would’ve moved heaven and earth to rectify that years ago, this lot just shrugged and they couldn’t care less if we lost another 10,000.

Exactly. Venkys and Pasha will just keep cutting the budget and make the club itself worse and worse..

We lost over 10k fans as STH.

I knew a few fans who walked away during the Kean and relegation era, they said that if Kean went they return, they didn't. They found other interests to do or followed a different club like Stanley or found other things to do regularly

Really do wish there was a way to hijack the big screen at Ewood - shame it’s never in tv camera view though

Does @Ste B still visit these forums?  Wasn't he quite handy with his computer? 😉

I imagine it'd have to be an inside job, Rovers probably have an old PC hooked up to it. Maybe a gofundme could be started to raise some Bitcoin to pay someone to do it?
