Mattyblue
Swag goes, hooray! (He’s a foot out the door already). Some other stooge gets the job as an on-paper CEO and on it goes Does selling 695 STs lead to a Venky sale?

G Somerset Rover
If Waggott goes then I bet Rudy gets the gig. ‘Fantastic job since you’ve come in, helping to derail our season with your shit signings. Told a couple fans to fuck off too? Have a promotion.’ Edited March 16 by G Somerset Rover

davulsukur
Mental how we have such a fractured fanbase. The hierarchy have done a great job with a divide and conquer strategy over the last 15 years. I don't think an empty Ewood achieves anything, they'll just sell players to cover the costs. Banners, chants, tennis balls on the pitch is probably the next step. I don't think it would result in getting us to our end game but it would be highlighted in the media in the UK. It would be a start. It's highly unlikely, unless we're relegated to league one, that there would be enough fans willing to do much more. Personally, I think the only way we get rid of them is getting a game abandoned and then the threat of doing it again gets the wheels turning, as it involves outside parties (the other clubs, the football league etc.) But that comes at potential great cost to the general fan.

norwichblue
Shall we have a whip round and have some huge banners made? One for each stand? Had a quick check on Google to price it up. https://www.bannerworld.co.uk has them about £10-£20 per square meter depending on which one you go for. — In a moment of feeling helplessness I bought the domain venkys-out.com but haven’t done anything with it. Was thinking of wiring up a shop on there and get t-shirts sent out at the exact cost they are to make and deliver (could be really low). There’s a print-on-demand service called Inkthreadable (Blackburn founded actually) that do these on a make to order basis. Couldn’t decide if that’s a good idea or not. Leaning towards not. Just ideas.

We sell 695 this summer, and what? Couldn't agree more. All it will lead to is cutting the wage budget or operational costs or shutting the academy. martonrover
Whether it achieves anything or not, like many others, I will be voting with my feet next season. It's just utterly futile.
Proudtobeblue&white
It's self evident they don't give a shit. Presumably they just leave the maggot to do his own thing, Masha is a patsy, the manager a waste of space. No investment, no plan, no passion. We want them to fuck off, but as a fan base, what can we do. I've boycotted for years now. An empty ground might make a statement, as if they want to keep ownership, they have to pay wages? Nobody for one match makes a bold message. The rest of the country might wake up. We are a forgotten club, going nowhere but down. We appear to be off radar after 15 years. We should be celebrating 150 years of glorious history, I can't celebrate anything with these wankers at the helm. Still hate them!
BigHoz
Blackburn fans not turning up does nothing, nobody in the club gives a shite how many turn up, Constant interruption of the games is the only way to get a big deal out of it and bring attention back to the cause.

No, but it’s better than chucking money away to be mugged off season after season. Constant interruption of games requires a good number of people attending to participate. Is that likely? No. If it’s just a small group they will be picked off and banned.

Proudtobeblue&white
If I could be guaranteed a major protest would take place I would turn up, but it's been muted before and it came to nothing. After 15 long years too much apathy abounds. I wish I knew the answer.

Decent numbers took part and stayed on the concourse for 18 minutes. Pointless. Venkys don’t give a shit. Only full on boycotts would raise any eyebrows but you simply won’t get the numbers to do it.

Just seems all the silent stuff we can't get enough people involved hard to organise. And then the disruptive side no one wants to get involved
Mattyblue
The distance of the owners from any of this and the opaque management structure they have over here, as well as knowing they couldn’t give a flying fuck what we plebs think is what makes this so difficult. Yes we know of the ‘but who’d put 20 million in?!’ brigade, they’re beyond help, but there’s also a hell of a lot of fans who would be delighted to be shut of them, know they’ve been a disaster… but they also know they aren’t remotely interested yet won’t countenance a sale, so what’s the point in protests and all that? It’s a fairly unique situation from what I can see and after *FIFTEEN YEARS* it has led to a fanbase that has no fight left.
funny-old-game
If anyone on here is part of the singing group top left BE, they should get the word out to find a song aimed solely at Suhail Pasha and make him squirm. It's clutching at straw time now, so give it him big time home and away.
Hasta
You would only get fan base all on the same page if we were on a proper downward spiral (relegated) AND there was a viable and interested party going public about wanting to buy us. But that second part is highly unlikely. Most people who buy clubs aren’t fans so why go to the impossible effort of trying to prise Rovers away when an Oxford or a Luton might become available far easier and cheaper.
