Just an update on this- I had an issue with the original advert, which means I didn’t get it running until about an hour ago.

Anyway, I think we might be getting our message across over in, Pune India. Indian folk are liking the page and liking the post.

Don’t want to sound like a pedant, but shouldn’t the wording be, “tell them to sell Blackburn Rovers”?

Is that the Issa brothers?

Aren't they both a bit shady (and apparently Manchester United fans)?

You don’t get that rich without being a bit shady.

It should! This was the issue I was having the other day, and have now sorted it.

This is what proper "owners" look like

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cdjym33j4mdo

Burnley leaving us behind in so many ways

I mean they bought the club with its own money, massively inflated the club debt, relegated twice, completely fucked up their Premier League campaign last season after spending a shit ton of money, spent a ton of money to be in automatics and reside in third place, and the owner hasn't the cash to bankroll the club himself but besides that, really really good.

It highlights what a state football is in if that's what proper owners look like.

Look at the state of that wall---tells you all you need to know. Looks like a filthy latrine.

No respect from Venkys. Jack will be turning in his grave.

That's exactly what I said on Twitter.

If anything the state of the weeds, the ground and the wall, could have more impact than the banner, in terms of shaming the people who are supposed to be looking after their baby.

For owners, who never refuse to sign a cheque, can it be requested that they send one to clean the filth at the ground up.

I'd go and do it myself if I had the permission and resources. I have the knowledge (do it daily)

I think offers have been made to tidy the place up and those offers were declined.

I know of a local glazier, who had to threaten the club, after carrying out some work and not being paid. A fan of the club too, so it goes to show, what a shoestring budget we have.

They're visible, enthusiastic and engaged with the fans. That's a proper owner.

Since we were relegated from the Prem Burnley have had 3 promotions and could be heading for a fourth - something we can only dream about

The reality is compared to us they're a better run club, with better owners, better players and a better manager.

The truth hurts, but it is the truth.
