Surely, you can appreciate that “ forward planning “ from the current regime is doomed to the continued failure. Wake up lad….and see the bigger picture. 12 Quote

Didn't someone said on here Gestede had an interview plan for Tuesday. Wonder if this was the story and when announcement would be made Don't give them ideas lol, I'd like to add something but can't bar this news will hit them in the pocket significantly. No wonder marketing man quit!!! As per the last movement, many of their closest aids are breaking rank. Quote

Gestede said improving communication to the fans when appointed. Yet that hasn't happened. No end of transfer window interview, no interview when Eustace left or Ismael was appointed. Very poor. Just to add communication to your supporters and explaining where you make key decision like signing or appointment of head coach or key position at the club. I wasn't keen on his appointment as head of football operations if you remember. I thought we need more experience appointment. Someone who had done that role before. Quote

Generally we are awaiting weeks if not months for replacement for key positions. Also I haven't said I agree with who they have appoint. Key difference here. Quote

jumpin' Posted Monday at 08:34 Posted Monday at 08:34 Has anyone heard the following over the weekend? Travis l, Hyam and 3 other 1st team players have been told to look for new clubs due to not being able to afford them. The u23’s had to hire a minibus to play Liverpool on Saturday at the cost of £160, and Waggott went ‘mad’ at this saying ‘how are we going to pay for that?’ VI is getting rid of the u23’s A mate just text me all of the above. Getting rid of the u23s is possible , if the players have been told the above , it will be public knowledge very soon ! Quote

That would suggest a downgrading of the academy etc too as I'm assuming we need a 21s to comply with the current academy rating we are. Quote

For what it's worth, if Waggott is going of his own accord then things must be even worse behind the scenes than we originally thought. No way he gives up the most cushiest gig in football. Bloke is old and fat, I assume he wants a couple of years to enjoy the money he has "earnt" at Rovers before the inevitable coronary 1 Quote

Rudy Gestede will replace CEO Waggott at the end of the season. Ham has been banned from training ground. Source of information is usually 100% Another source, stating not all the above is accurate. So for now it can only be taken as a rumour, as both sources are pretty good. 2 Quote

I can believe the players looking for new clubs line. Don't believe the rest though, even under this lot. The academy and under 21 side will stay, but I imagine the academy will be downgraded. Quote

Easy to throw shots at people from the other side of the world What does that have to do with anything? I'm calling you out for the complete and utter bollocks that you continually post on this online message board. It's really easy to do that, regardless of location. Explain to me what is good about appointing Gestede as the CEO? I am in no way being hyperbolic when I say that I could do a better job than him. I'm also far more qualified, and I'm not that qualified. The only thing more embarrassing than this appointment is you praising it. 6 Quote

There was no scheduled under 21 game on Saturday although I've just seen there was a BCD friendly but I don't know who it was against or where it was played. The under 18's were at home on Saturday so no transport would have been needed. Haven't the 100 Club supported the Academy by buying them a minibus? The LT recently reported that Rovers have invoked the clause in Hyam's contract triggering an extra year. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25023585.blackburn-rovers-make-decision-out-of-contract-player/ 2 Quote
