I loved Rory’s video, i was tempted to go back to twitter just to tell him as much but im not doing that.

I love how intentional or not it invoked the tone of the Jack Walker poem ‘it’s not about x, it’s about y’

John Park not being replaced in the immediate future as our first 2 choices turned us down

https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25060225.blackburn-backroom-role-revealed-chief-scout-latest/

I am sure we would all sour on a prospective new job role as soon as we found out the the remuneration was a bag of Haribo and a half empty can of pop

"We interviewed a few individuals. One was successful. So we made him an offer and then he decided to stay in his club because he had a better offer and the role was, it's a bigger club than us," Gestede told The Lancashire Telegraph.

"He decided to stay there and the number two decided to pull out the application because he had something else. But at the end of the day, he didn't sign for the other club.

"So it's, we don't want to rush the decision on bringing someone. We had a clear target and it didn't happen. So we had to change the way we wanted to do.

"So we brought two video analysts and one senior scout to the club. We've also got someone joining us as a lead scout (Cairney).

"In the future, it could happen. We're quite happy with the person in the position now. So it's not something urgent.

"But if we start to grow the department, yes, but if someone within the department is doing very well, why not promote the person."

How can he be happy with a person in a position, when three sentences earlier he explains why 2 people turned down said vacant position.

I know English isn't his first language, but there's no way he can hide behind that absolute claptrap. Makes Waggott look competent

I cant be arsed watching them in full but if he said that, oh dear.

This sums him up, they knew full well the investment was pathetic and the squad a mess but got lucky with Eustace.

"So be grateful, you oiks, and don't forget to rush out and buy those season tickets".

Some good points in there and hopefully, someone will pose these questions that you have raised.

There are that many issues, that it is unlikely that these will be addressed in the pre match meeting that the trust have with Waggott on Friday.

I have first hand experience of meetings with him and his tactic, will be to waffle on, avoid the issues and run out of time.

I suspect that is the reason he chose Friday and not a more convenient time, when there would be no reason to rush anything.

He’s not a quitter, will give him that. Will lie and bullshit until his very last breath !

Yasir Sufi comes across terribly on twitter. He is keen to push the merits of the Ewood Express in any conversation, to which I cant see any criticism and indeed people seem to acknowledge that its good but either ask questions about how its reported or be more criticial about other failings. To which he seems to take as criticism of the ewood express and seems aggrieved.

From the WATR newsletter:

"Yasir Sufi also told us to forget about re-engagement with lapsed fans, and that getting the new generation of support in was where their priorities lay."

Shocking statement. A terrible, terrible mistake.
The potential of re-engagement with lapsed fans was there for all to see at the Burnley game on 4 January - 3 sides of the ground full. Idiots.

I wonder if there may be something more sinister afoot there as any complaints about it can be taken a certain way and could be used to turn around on fans. It’s critical there are no missteps as a fan base now and hope there are no fake leaks out there to try and trip people up, such as the ham ban!

Sufi seemed a breath of fresh air at one point but wonder if he started believing his own hype.

He's gone through the ranks rapid, and now managing things which he has zero experience in.

He's passionate about the Ewood Express, and it's been fantastically done and he should be applauded.

However he's sounding like a one trick pony . He can't take his emotion out of his efforts on the Ewood Express. He fails to recognise or acknowledge that no one has questioned the Ewood Express.

People are questioning lapsed supporters and the break in the chain which sees the baton pased through generations.

However I'm mindful we should not get distracted ourselves by him despite rumours of his power rising.

Take out the handler, as the foot soldiers are very much irrelevant in the wider picture.

Great video from Rory and looking forward to the next phase.

The Gestede interview was I think, the most revealing regarding the squad, Eustace and future direction.  Well done Elliot.

I think the legacy fan comment, if true, is something I can't past.  You can see me in my picture, proud as hell, sporting the blue and white halves.  I've been attending EP (with some breaks) since around 1970 when I was seven years old.  I gave up this year I'm afraid, being so distraught about how the club is run.

Maybe a BRFCS "legacy fan" t-shirt would be seller.

Monies advanced to the club  = £134 million

Monies invested by way of share issues = £86 million.

I’m not convinced that adds up to £300 million (and shares aren’t a debt…)

Again as i've always said ...its a milking job of SBI Funds... they can't sell for value as thier bankrolling instrument will be called ...they cannot get promoted as spotlight will be on.

Iv'e long suspected a mill or two goes through the tube elsewhere every year, though not illegally there'll be loopholes and ways and means to filter a bit out.

No one is telling me English football doesn't have a Non Bio element the UK is the money laundering capital of Europe and as long as it isn't drug or terror related a lot will slip through loopholes via City of London, mainly tax avoidance stuff.

However even if a decade of bleeding has been going on there has to be an upper limit to it the SBI and co won't just keep extending facilities when very little flows back.

An important point and something I've noticed not only in the '3 hostages video's' but also from some parts of the media (emphasis on the some).

The impression I get is that they're not only trying to slander the approach being made and belittle supporters emotions on the subject, but lines of questioning have veered off into a tangent completely unrelated to our cause.

Everyone who's in the public domain fighting the good cause needs to be confident of keeping to the relevant topics and sticking to factual evidence.

You've got Phase 1 to 3
But do it at the right time
You can be slow or fast
But get on BBC

Waggott will hit you and hurt you
Defend and attack
There's only one way to beat him
Get 'round the back

Catch Glen if you can
'Cause he’s the Rovers man

And what you're looking at
Is the master plan
We ain't no hooligans
This ain't a football song
Red Rose on my chest
I know we can't go wrong
