The thing with banners/flags is they can hide behind fire safety etc as a reason to refuse them. The Diaz Chile flag had to have certification for it to be allowed in.

The ideal would be to have a double sided flag…show the stewards one side (& the certification….) then turn it around 😁

Or mosaics…made up of individual cards…

Or tshirts with letters

I remember a quote on here from a couple of years ago, which made me shudder.

"They are still here..."

Some bloke on social media is adamant with me that those lovely agents still have a big vested interest in the club beyond the norm.

Turning up makes us look weak. We’ve bent over and took it for 15 years. If nobody turns up there isn’t a club. It’s the only thing that will force them to sell. Turning up won’t do anything, they’ll just be here for another 15 years.

That’s true…but it’s simply not going to happen…Harry Berry has Tweeted strongly over recent weeks…this one nails it..

How many Rovers fans turned up last night? On TV the home ends had tumbleweed blowing through them and I reckon there was less than 7000 blues there.

The official attendance was over 15000 with 3200 odd Boro fans visiting.were most rovers fans watching TV on the concourse or what?

There were nowhere near 15k on last night. Far from it.

Sign of the times and folks are voting with their feet. Good on them.

Season ticket holders counted but didn't turn up.

It would explain a lot if true.

5. Those who convince themselves they are doing the right thing by attending.

Well i've read and digested a lot but right now I'd say the chances of Rovers, as we know it, surviving more than say 4 years seem very remote.

If Venkys won't sell the club has had it.150 years down the drain.

We all know that not everyone will want to stay away, for the reasons he states, but he misses the wider point.

The reasons for staying away must be strategic and with an end goal. If people want change they need to make sacrifices. If that means having a year of not turning up to starve the clowns out then they might be willing to stay away.

Basically, if you keep turning up they will never sell the club. If you sacrifice buying a season ticket for a single year they might fuck off. It needs to be framed in those terms.

Not denying what you say but we should never underestimate the emotional pull. I drove from Sheffield to Portsmouth last Saturday & pre-match, chatted with Sam who’d flown from Dublin to Gatwick that morning…

In the words of the song…It’s a hard habit to break for so many

It's been very clear from the noise coming from the people within the club this week that the only thing they care about and seemingly the only thing they actively engage in, is a lack of ticket revenue.

It appears this is a metric by which the Raos measure success. So much as being described as Venkys biggest mistake in dropping £30 to the effect Waggot has been sidelined.

That's the one card they have ever revealed that's shows how we hit them.

Previously I've not felt boycotting made a blind bit of difference , we've lost 15, now probably 20 thousand fans the last 15 years and no response. I dropped my season ticket because of Waggott and his Covid 'grateful to the owners' guilt when it was obvious nobody in Blackburn could attend games, but still attended ad-hoc.

However, now we're down the the bone it does seem to spook them, it does seem to be on their radar and for whatever reason , this arbitrary target they set seems important to them among the huge losses.

They openly have shared their contempt for us as a fanbase in recent communications. It's Venkys London Limited masquerading as BRFC. Yasir doesn't want me, Suhail scoffs at the reasons why I'm disillusioned and Waggott endorses it while Rudy smirks. Folk like that TK sit in their padded seats and pour scorn on the "uneducated fans". I'm more than educated thanks.

I have a 2 and a 3 year old, yet to get to Ewood one who is Rovers obsessed, who one day I want to sit with and share how I came when I was 6 and tell stories of the good times.

It's a deeply personal choice so I won't say what anyone should or shouldn't do but I can't show them this and I can't put money in where I am not wanted or thought about. I feel bad I'm depriving them, but I have to do something to show I'm no longer prepared to be taken for a fool.

I applaud all the fans groups and people like Glen and Kidder Streey Noise, WATR sticking their heads up to be shot at, these are the people I will be proud to sit with, at whatever level, when this plague has passed.

I love this Club and this town but at this point, until people leave, it's NAPM from me.

Really good post and what you say about Venkys (Pasha) showing their hand is true - ticket revenue is their weak point, and that’s the metric by which the Board are judged.

NAPM - Starve the fuckers out.

Not everyone will be able to afford it, but there is no problem with attending away games, (I will attend some), so you can still get your fix.

Just don't buy tickets for or attend home games.

Agreed, but look how many people didn't bother last night.

I'm a long term active supporter, so if the likes of myself and several others on here are going to boycott home games, the attendances are going to be dire, (good!)

Sadly it feels like we are pissing in the wind, go and read the cesspit of LET rovers articles, the delusion of some of our own fan base makes my blood boil. These fucking “we need Venkies” “where would we be without them” clowns, my word it annoys me.

State of this:

There are worst owners than Venkys CV. At least we have a club to support, do Reading ? Wednesday can not pay their wages, Plymouth reckon every Championship club . like them are losing 1m per week , every week. ? Action Group , made up of 14 year old kids, were embarrassing, and on National TV. Not a good time to be a Rovers fan.”

Disgraceful from a sections of the Blackburn end tonight , they started with negative chants right from the kick off, the confidence in the players is shot and they needed lifting . I respect that supporters have the right to voice their opinion, but do it before the start, at half time and after the game has finished.”

Agitation Group cost Rovers the game”

You can bet the majority of these pricks are Dingle trolls or trolls from the club.

As has been stated on this forum a few times, we need to saturate that comment section and weed them out.

Good to hear Adam Catterall venting his spleen on TalkSport last night just after the game.

Must have had a rant for a good 10 minutes explaining to his colleague exactly what's gone on in the last 15 years under this lot.

Nice one Adam

Be good if a few more could stick their heads above the parapet. Too many have stayed quiet - Shearer was watching the game last night on TV but just stays silent despite watching the same horse shit that we did.

A Rovers fan and was the best thing that happened last night.

He summarised the venky issue covering managers who knew how to run a team and covered "over the cracks", stating they had all walked away. Good to hear fans ringing adding for eg Jan transfer window non event and numerous paper work errors in signing players who never arrived.

I think the last couple of weeks have been brilliant and all involved deserve some genuine appreciation. I don't expect details now but I wonder, when this is all over, will we get a behind the scenes story? Feels to me there are people involved who we don't know about and that have recognised now as an opportunity.

If that's the case, I absolutely love it and it gives me just a tingle of hope for a fresh start next season?

Just a comment on the fans to boycott games. They ARE boycotting games. Between ten and fifteen thousand fans have walked away over the past 15 years.

Those fans staying away is the biggest argument we’ve got against the way the club is being run. How’s about using photos of the empty stadium a bit more often?
