He’s had time to make his mark now and I see nothing that justifies his appointment

It’s also becoming obvious why Birmingham got rid of him

We leak less goals now, but we're not good enough at the other end. Draws aren't going to keep us up, and that seems like the best Eustace can do with this team.

Indeed. ‘If you’re not gonna win it then make sure you don’t lose’ is all well and good when you’re away from home or facing one of the big boys. Not when you’re desperately needing wins against the likes of Millwall at home it’s not.

What is it? 7 games 0 wins?

I still blame Venkys. We didn't get the fullback, the midfielder, the winger or the striker we needed. Instead they got rid of a good goalie and brought in a goalie who looks like he's never been in the nets before. Then got rid of our wonderkid midfielder and brought in a bloke with one leg.

I live in a fairly simple world. I have stopped going, but not caring.

Roll-up, roll-up, buy your season tickets all you mugs, and keep Waggot in his job !

By a long way.

Not good enough.

Useless out.

Waggot out.

Venkys out.

Good because I want him out and I don’t want to catch any more grief for it. I genuinely believed we had to win this and Saturday to stay up, because the only other potential win I saw was Sheff Weds at home in the run-in. If we turn up again on Saturday with this attitude, we’ll have stolen a win, if we manage it.

While typing this, his interview came on the Rovers TV feed. I’d share it but it’s too big of a file. Suffice it to say, he’s pleased with the performance, somehow.

The team look like they're playing with their wings clipped. JDT showed that without a proper striker they needed to be attacking-minded to get goals. 3 at the back at home to Millwall FFS. Too many passes around the defence because there are no outlets further forward.

I expect we'd have lost more games in the last 7 with JDT in charge but we'd also certainly have more than 5 points.

Uninspiring manager befitting of those above him. Going down sleep walking into the relegation spots.

I’ve stopped listening to his guff already. It’s nauseating and so far removed from what actually happens on the pitch.

The more he talks the clearer it is that he was a panic choice because JDT was leaving and Waggott needed someone to spout pleasantries to try and keep at least the happy clappers on side.

The sooner he goes the better, talks the talk and that's literally it.

Tomasson has been negotiating his exit (and talking to Sweden) since before Christmas according to reports

I reckon Rovers had Eustace had lined up from then - hence his swift appointment after JDT left

Rather than a panic choice he appears to be a planned appointment....... via Coventry

i don`t want to start criticising eustace but it looks like he does`nt know what to do with this group of players,he`s kind of caught between possesion football  and long ball stuff but it`s ending up as neither

He’s trying to play long ball football with a group of players who aren’t suited to it skill wise. Did Gally win a header all night ?
