he seems to keep in the background,but as head of recruitment he and broughton,the director of football, should both be accountable for the terrible signings they`ve inflicted on us,the o`brien/mcguire cluster**** should seal broughton`s fate,he`s gone very quiet and i think he`ll be off at the end of the season,it appears eustace has no need for him

If I wrote down our strongest 11, there would be 8 players in it who were already here when Broughton came, and that's despite Wharton and Travis leaving. 

The head of non recruitment would be a more apt title.

Was would Sean Kimberley come out publicly and speak about recruitment? What other head of recruitment does that? 

Fleck was low risk signing on 5 months contract. Let's not overstated it. 

People need to look at actually how he injured himself which was in game situation

Can’t really saw it’s a low risk signing, when you consider how many appearances he’s made in the last two years tbf.

Why has Eustace has no need for him given he is only head coach and was at Birmingham? 

GB wasn't in charge of the paperwork with both potential signings problem. Only 1 people at the Club can send it. Why no blame for him? 

GB Has already said he speak to the media during the March International break

Likely being on 10-20 grand a week for 6 months Fleck isn't a cheap punt at all it's yet another stupid gamble on a guy with no recent history of being match fit.

Fleck will have been a deadline day panic after selling Adam and realising that offloading Travis was insane.

So they'll have looked around for easy deals to do, in this case a bloke never playing at Sheffield Utd and out of contract soon, ticks a lot of boxes. Happy to come here until the summer to try and get game time and match fit, no obligations beyond that, effectively a loan which is the way they like it here.

Everyone happy. Sheff Utd get rid of a wage and place in the squad allowing them to put money elsewhere. He gets an audition here and much better prospects of game time and we appear to plug a self inflicted hole in the squad until the summer.

Suspect we aren't paying his full wage, probably he's done a deal with Sheffield to go early. Takes a lump sum pay off and we pay him the shortfall.

A lot of tabloid rumours about us being interested in Galloway when his contracts up in the summer. He's another one with a shockingly bad injury and fitness record

We were in a horrendous slump in form and hurtling down the table. We then decided to sell our best midfielder which left the manager pitifully short in midfield. Fleck was the only person subsequently brought in as replacement / cover but hasn't been able to play any worthwhile minutes at all. I'd say the business of selling Wharton and replacing him was Fleck was pretty high risk given the situation. 

However, I would balance that out by adding McFadzean has proven to be many times better / more useful than I thought he would be.
