John Eustace - our head coach

If there was a handshake between Szmodics, Waggot and his agent over a 6/8 million figure and Rovers are holding out for more then i'ts likely his and his agents dummies have come out.

He’s your standard EFL manager. Decent wedge for taking a Championship job is about as far as the due diligence goes

he don't even need due diligence...if he don't know about the venkyscum then he's deluded or stupid.

Why is the manager weak?

Sorry I thought his quotes were clear.

He has no influence at the club stayed by himself

He hasn't enforced Sammie to train

He has no idea what condition Sammie will be in

He may even play Sammie on Friday

He comes across clueless in that interview

Sorry. It’s still not clear why you think he’s weak, you just seem confused about his job role.

Eustace is an employee.

Do you honestly think he wants his best player to be missing training over a potential transfer ?

He doesn't come across as clueless at all , he is the head coach. The owners and the money men have the control.

They are similar answers as JDT used to give.

I appreciate we're looking to sell him, but which moron decided it was a good idea for him to not even train for the last month?

A desperate one that sees pound signs before his eyes. Take your pick as to who that might be.

'Wrap him up, lads. Hey, hey. Let Sammie rest up, he's just got back from the Eur...oh, wait, erm, he's had a long season, extra rest for Sammie. He can appear in the Youtube clips though'.

It's abysmal that he hasn't trained for the last month. Desperate for the pound notes.

Glad to see he's definitively got the 'hasn't won at Ewood' monkey off his back.

I think he's a solid manager at this level - give him the tools and he'll do ok for us.

Unfortunately he won't get given the tools. Just like the last bloke.

He’s a decent manager in this competition, but he isn’t JDT. Not his problem I know but some guys think it is.

Easy to say this after a 4-2 win but Eustace is growing on me.

Am a huge JDT fan but I think this guy can do an excellent job for us.

Doomed now!

I just think give the guy a chance. His record at Big Club says he’s got something. Could be the new Don Mackay

Rovers fans always give managers a chance (unless you’re Owen Coyle). Ewood is a great place to get your feet under the table.

proud to say I never attended 1 chimp dinglehead game.

Good to see that Eustace is continuing the form JDT started with putting these smaller teams to the sword and treating the cup games with some actual respect.

Just get some lads on the halfway line when we're defending a corner FFS.

I’d rather have Sammi on the half way line than back defending a corner. The opposition would have to bring one, possibly two knowing how good Sammi is, players back to mark him.

It’s disappointing to see Eustace being mentioned in the list of possible PNE managerial candidates. I can see why though.

It's a more stable place but a real dead end job.

Besides, absolutely no way they'll pay us compo for Eustace.
