Another decent player would be Bosun Lawal at Celtic. Both would bring a bit of pace and power to our side. Very good technically as well. Lawal can play centre half or DM. That will solve our keeper problem.

TheRevAshton
So Nicko teases some ‘very positive’ news to us for days… What could it be? Warchest? Waggott being sacked? Good freebie all but signed? How exciting… Well it turns out, that we just want to loan a youngster from Palace, who we’ll probably miss out on. Or the ‘very positive’ news could be the fact that Man U are trying to pluck from our academy, yet the player might not want to go (but probably will). What a wanker that bloke is. M_B
Replacing Szmodics' goals will be a big problem, as was replacing Brereton's before him, and Armstrong before him. The conundrum being, Gallagher partnered/played alongside all 3 prolific goalscorers, yet the answer to the problem seems to be to get rid of him for nothing. It would seem an odd solution. arbitro
It isn't just about replacing the goals from Szmodics although they are mightily important. His prodigious work rate and desire will take some replacing and I certainly don't see any current player getting anywhere near this. He inspires other players with his attributes and as many have said should have been our captain.

He was our Talisman, when things weren’t working out our only hope was “ get it to Sammi “ , and he rarely let us down.
