they’ve clearly been using the Wharton money since January to keep the club afloat

Why has it just been requested?

Why wasn't the request made at the end of the season?

Why wait until the transfer window is open to request funds?

Why are the players due back for pre season training yet nobody at the club knows what budget they are working off this season?

All good questions. I’m not sure anyone is suggesting that it’s a well run club!

It’s ironic you’re asking me to prove it when only a few posts higher you have said 100% that Venky’s  can’t send funds, but are now admitting you’ve no proof.

Elliot Jackson has stated an agreement has been reached in today’s LT, Rovers have previously said the court case now concerns technical non-Rovers related issues, and he’s also said we’ve just requested funds.

You can believe what you want, but like me you’ve no proof. My belief is that funds can now be sent subject to an equivalent bond being stumped. My belief is the court case in August has nothing to do with Rovers.

Elliot Jackson recently stated he would rather be 100% spot on with his information than be first. He did do a story stating it doesn't effect Rovers a while back. Nothing been said since

Questions need to be asked about where the money is going that has come / is coming to the club from the Wharton, Raya & Smzmodics sales (when that happens). If the Venksters are precluded from transferring dosh from India to Rovers, is there a similar embargo on funds going the other way? If so, where is the money and why can't the club access it?

The club is accessing it - but it's simply being used to keep the lights on.

And yet he incorrectly listed that Hedges does not have a year option on his contract in an article posted a week ago.

https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24373599.blackburns-contract-decisions-11-players-enter-last-year/

Not the biggest error in the world, but shows that even going back 7 days, he does not have a 100% record.

Article on Rovers site from when Hedges signed that states he has an option - https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/january/30/ryan-is-a-rover-/

It has. It’s in the LT transfer story from earlier today. He’s also repeated it on twitter which I see you’ve posted above. What he says is what I’ve been saying for weeks.

I think the point is both Jackson and WATR are running with this line because Waggot has told them. ( or Jackson just got it from the WATR minutes)

Which doesn’t mean it is true because Waggot  can “bend the truth.”

Also the “matched personal guarantee” was the line several sites were reporting in January. Despite this we had to sell Wharton to keep the club running. Therefore there is nothing to suggest Venkys are happy to tie a load of money up with authorities that are investigating them just to keep funding Rovers.

Obviously if another £15million lands  in Rovers accounts this summer it clears it up once and for all.

I’m glad it’s out there in the press, on the record, from the CEO himself that the owners have been asked for funds (and not just funds to keep the lights on). It’s in the LT that they can fund if they wish to.

So either we’ll see a decent budget (as we aren’t close to FFP due to sales and they never refuse a cheque either) or we won’t - but no excuses can be trotted out for them by the likes of Swag this time.

I can foresee "unforeseen complications"

The goings on at this club are truly mind boggling.

I've given up on the whole bunch of capital Cs running club.

I'll just watch Rovers on TV and hope for the best onfield.

Rudy for CEO, go fuck yourself Rudy.

Anyone will do, as the real person at the helm is Suhail.

I completely expect to be wrong, but surely, suuurely, Rovers aren't that mental.

I want Waggott gone as much as the next man but replacing him with Gestede is akin to replacing Bowyer with Coyle.
