Still no word what kind of budget they are working to? Was Eustace asked?

Nobody should be leaving until we have some players in the squad is already a shambles. The cost cutting continues

Don't agree there. Telalovic isn't part of Eustace and given he has a move on permanently basis.

Yes, I know, what's your point

Misread your message, thought you said “”jam on first, that’s the Devon way”

Meaning they put jam on first. Easy mistake from me.

It does feel like theyre trying to clear the decks! And with the off field appointments and reshuffle logic would say they are planning on splurging on player incomings.

But that said.... Logic & Rovers haven't been bedfellows for around 14 years.

It is all hot air and piss, until players actually come in. Until then, there can be no planning for the new campaign except on the basis that we wee with the willy we have already got. Names from the turgid lips of the gossip mongers and faux ITK are hot air, and the only thing that is worth paying any attention to is the sound of the pen scrawling a signature on a playing contract and the slight whoosh as an incoming recruit raises their new shirt for the obligatory 'there was only one club in my mind' photoshoot. Even the sound of the door banging on the arse of departing players isn't worth a backwards glance, as it is simply a signal that our strength in depth is being undermined and diminishing at our peril.

I think that's fair enough.

Sticker books, pieces of paper, what will the social media team be working on for this summer? Players being fished out of the reject bin a la Raggy Dolls?

We can't sign anyone until the recruitment team finishes getting the splinters removed from the ends of their fingers due to them spending 18 hours a day scraping the bottom of the barrel.

In retrospect seeing Hendry/Dunn/MGP opening a scrap of paper to nod in faux approval at Telalovic being signed is looking more and more silly.

Yeah, Krul isn't happening.

Will drag on for a while before we "move onto other targets".

The Everton lad on trial will be our back up keeper next season.

The Everton lad wasn't even on the pitch ahead of Joe Hilton

Joe Hilton will be our back up this season

If we do sign anyone, I hope they play hook a duck to do the reveal.  The club is run like a circus carnival as it is, so may as well embrace it

At this stage, I would settle for silly reveals of a few contract renewals, let alone new signings

I think Hilton moves on.

Needs to be playing some kind of football at his age.

Hastings is the guy on trial from Larne isn't he?

Any idea what side the U21s put out?  I've not seen any mention of it apart from the goal scorers
