Might be expensive, but they are owed by a hedge fund, and have Prem money coming to them Walton (yes him) was their reserve keeper last season and on a bigger wage than anyone in Rovers squad Quote

It should be fun. It used to be fun. They've taken that away from us. Even the brief moments of joy are cut short knowing they'll find a way to wreck it. 24 Quote

Especially when the football Club is Blackburn Rovers… the greatest Town Club in the history of the game, Premier League winners and historically one of the biggest Clubs in the country. Uncle Jack would be devastated to see what they’ve done to us. 20 Quote

sharpysharps86 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 We are absolutely already in a relegation fight before kicking a ball if we aren't able to spend any transfer fees on signings. Best hope that JE's 'togetherness' really does the trick because that's what we'll be relying on by the looks of it! Quote

Popular Post J*B Posted July 9, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2024 I am astonished there’s fans that are only just understanding the severity of this. Many people on this forum, the 4,000 podcast and other resources have been explaining this in very simple terms for many months now. 23 Quote

This is why people like Waggott say and do the things they do. I know the term happy clappers is used, but naive in the extreme is more accurate. 5 Quote
den Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Do we need to be able to decipher court papers, translate Waggotts coding to work out what’s going on? It’s all there to be seen. There’s no money. 2 Quote

Popular Post Neal Posted July 9, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2024 (edited) There's only so much a person can take before you just turn your back completely. This season is going to be an absolute car crash, with the worst owners in football, the worst CEO, no investment and a yes man in charge of the team. I don't understand how they intend to get people to buy season tickets after finishing 19th with no further investment. If they won't invest then why should I? I'm not being bent over just because it's the club I support, they're taking advantage of peoples blind commitment to Rovers whilst sleep walking us into league 1 and they simply don't care. Going to Ewood to argue with other fans, to watch shit football in a 3rd full stadium, with the kids being sacrificed and used as a shield to hide behind the sheer neglect that's occured and the poor results that will follow... No thanks. Season ticket? New shirt? F*ck off. Edited July 9, 2024 by Neal 26 Quote

Those type of signings /Gambles are fine when you have some sort of a budget and can allow that player to bed in , but we ain't in that position we need players that are ready now. I agree. We can't take too many gambles to be honest and we need to bring in British based players or if we are looking overseas for free transfers we can't take risks like Telalovic type transfers 1 Quote
