It feels like the club is in total crisis but publicly acting like its business as usual.

The last fans forum minutes read like a parellel universe from what the club is actually going through. Waggot especially is peddling complete lies about numerous things and needs to be gone this summer.

Gregg was removed as a cost cutting exercise. Budgets have apparently been reduced by 25% across the board for the coming season.

I would expect several other backroom coaches, data analysts, recruitment etc to be announced as leaving soon.

So that is nearly a 50% budget cut over 2 seasons if true, just what the fuck is going on there ?

Relegation is definitely the aim but we can pray the owners are beginning to ease their way to a sale i suppose.

Regardless, i'd bet my final pound that the clubs financial report will still be lurking around that suspiciously magic -£20m number

He will come back and the club will herald the new signing, like some sort of returning Mascherano. Imagine Travis won’t be too pleased to come back….

Think he's the perfect type for Eustace, but who's he gonna replace in our team?

I like Travis and think he would do much better in this Eustace side then he ever did under jdt. He wasn't exactly pulling up trees at Ipswich and now they've gone up surely they'll aim higher. If they put a decent bid in though it should be considered, as long as it's a big increase on those insults Millwall bid last summer.

They won't sign him. Ipswich only signed Travis when Morsy got injured and put Travis on the bench as soon as Morsy was back fit.

so you don't think Eustace wants to more us on and improve the club position and get promote in a couple of seasons?

No, because they will do everything they can to sabotage us.

They wouldn’t have signed Travis even if they’d have stayed down. He was only an insurance policy.

I will go on record now to say, that no way in this world, will Eustace get us promoted in a couple of seasons.

I know we don't have a clue what the squad will look like yet, but I would almost guarantee that will will be in the bottom half again next year and be very surprised of we are not relegated.

Alan Nixon.

Been right on the last 3 stories.

He's at odds with the LT on both the rumours about Ruddy which were downplayed by the local rag and Jackson's assertion that there are no active plans to replace Broughton.

Be interesting to see who is more on the money.

Possibly the LT if philli's assertion about a further 25% budget cut is correct.

We will have to wait and see who the appointment and how he will work with Waggott and Eustace plus who is behind is his appointment whether it's Venkys appointment through a football consultancy company or Waggott/Pasha are going to appoint him

No matter who is behind the appointment there will likely be further disharmony, as the individuals battle for control.

For any system to work and be conducive to success, everyone has to be singing from the same hymn sheet.

The only semblance of harmony and stability since Venkys took over have been the periods without a DOF / whatever Shebby’s title was.

All the role does at Rovers (under Venkys) is create more chaos and infighting.

Up until their money troubles have been sorted, the sole target is staying in the division and that is all the ambition is.

How many looking to increase commercial revenue and lower ST prices then sell more and create a better match day atmosphere for the fans base instead of cut and cut

If we sign the players Eustace then I think we finish around 12th next season

They should forget about battle of control and wants the best for BRFC.

Another 25%, are they actively trying to get us relegated?
If things are that bad they need to sell up fast and go!!
It doesn’t sound like “funding will not be affected “ rings true. SW lying again, shock, horror, hold the front page.

So what is it this year, a change in the Indian National Insurance laws?

I believe that will be the brief to Eustace next season. The budgets will once again be trimmed and the extra revenue from Sky will be used to keep the lights on. I too was told that Broughton was effectively made redundant and as such cannot be directly replaced under employment law. There could be an appointment but it won't be like for like.

It's a real mess.

“Yes, but we need Venkys and the club would cease to exist if they didn’t own us “🤮😡

Like most things here under this ownership the DoF model is never going to work and it's pointless wasting money and adding another layer to replace Broughton.

It only works if you let the DoF do his job, give him some budget and follow his directives OR you bring in a guy experienced in working with nothing and probably already a pal of the CEO.

Otherwise it's nonsense and considering they've brought in a well qualified guy from Brighton under the title Football Administrator suggests to me they are following the cost cutting process and going back to dual roles. A bit like Venus being assist manager and some kind of DoF only this time it'll be Rudy learning the ropes plonked in between gaffer and Footy Admin guy/Waggot/Shadow director.
