We've been here so many times before. I'm expecting loads of deals to fall through and get some dodgy loans from Premier League teams to sort of patch up the squad, so at least 11 players over the age of 16 can start.

It's like you've seen the last few tranfer windows at this club or something.

Isn’t it amazing how we have so many on the forum here that have now turned into super scouts based on YouTube clips

yous are wasted folks

Almost as amazing as you not just letting people post as they please, especially when they aren’t breaking any rules.

i am really enjoying the links we have with liverpool and brighton to loan some of the young talents to us long may it continue 🙂

Even better would we if we could sign our own players.

Wonder if this newly assembled team will encourage a few more season ticket sales.....

Missed the boat on that one I'm afraid.

They might get a boost to the half-season ticket sales if the team comes together and starts performing leading up to Christmas.

Still not Cantwell confirmation, so that could be the higher profile player to not go through.

Plus ca change.....

Bits and pieces and kids on loan going through, the one deal that entails a relatively hefty financial outlay ( certainly in terms of wages if not the fee) it appears not.

That's the big problem, isn't it?

Really happy with Gueye, Ohashi and Cantwell (if it happens) as permanent signings - that completely changes the look of the attack and all have resale value, but we're back in the same position in 12 months time if we don't miraculously get promoted with the loans of this Brighton lad, potentially this Fulham lad, Beck etc.

At least we signed a permanent GK (although personally that's the position I'd have gambled on and gone all out for a big time loan like Carl Rushworth), let's just hope he's any good.

Cantwell is done according to a chap on here who knows a mate of his.

Keep the faith

Apologies if this has been posted already, but Cozier-Duberry looks to be an absolute fucking baller.

This is his recent season highlights with Arsenal:

So excited by this one.

Well done Rovers.

I know it's YouTube but he does look like a good signing.

Credit where it’s due - that is a sensational signing.

Sensational is a bit much.

He's clearly very highly rated, but he's never played Senior football. I'm sure there was a long queue to loan him and we've done very well to get to the head of said queue, but we're playing PL2 Tombola (love whoever came up with that) - he could be amazing, or he could be kicked into the stands by a Championship clogger every week. We'll just have to wait and see.

This is so far, night and day compared to the last 2 seasons. We might still find ourselves a little short as the season goes on, but this has turned out to be a very good transfer window on paper, so far....
